God apparently has it in for NEW YORK...here's why
You ever see disaster movies like "Independence Day" or "Day After Tomorrow"...even "Armageddon" or "Deep Impact"....? Did you ever notice that in all of those movies, no matter where the disaster strikes, it almost ALWAYS hits New York at some point? In fact, GODZILLA apparently dislikes (or liked, for that matter) New York because even it attacked there. Why is it that in every disaster movie, New York has to be hit?
I'm watching this dumb movie "Day After Tomorrow" now. This movie is LAUGHABLE. The acting is so hamfisted it's ridiculous...everything is so contrived...And, to add insult to injury, as if you didn't get BEAT OVER THE HEAD enough from the alarmists, the President in the movie delivers a sermon about how the world needs to stop polluting the environment. Global Warming is a real phenomenon and it probably is occurring. However, such extremes in the environment could be a natural flux and part of a cycle that has yet to be identified. Remember, there WAS AN ORIGINAL ICE AGE thousands of years ago BEFORE the industrial revolution. So, even if we are polluting the air now, there's nothing to say that this natural progression wouldn't happen (albeit slower) if we didn't use these products. Anyway...NEW YORK got it bad man! |

werd, New York is the most famous city in the world, it's relatable to everyone from everywhere in the world, everyone in the world knows about New York city, that's probably why...if someone put some place like Seattle, Washington in every movie people wouldn't know what they were talking about |

well I guess my post is gonna continue to be Ignored and un-responded to cuz I actually answeredthe question so I'll come off topic with the rest of you... global waring is a world issue, yes...but will we be here to see the ultimate effects of it? no...do I personally care? hmmm not really cuz I rather enjoy warmer weather :D |
