Tonyself just told me about the mainpage to RV and I like it. I hadn't been on it in ages because it was always the same plain page. It made me wonder how we can boost the talent and prestige of this site.

Give a suggestion or two, or 3...


I'm thinking we can include a section for Emcee BIos/interviews

There should DEF. be an audio magazine, IMO.

&

Any rapper who is inactive should have his name taken off the top of the board as a "Featured Artist"

Yup, something needs to be done about the RV Radio...you can switch it up with regular songs and tracks of RV members.

Homepage with like some featured artists, interviews maybe,... just a nice homepage

Can't we do nothing about those "guests"...it pisses me off haha...

Magazine like once every 3 or 4 months that covers entire RV, not just audio...you can have seperate smaller mags per smaller section but that'd go inactive soon probably...even the magazine will need some active and determined heads to keep it going.

I like the interviews idea. Real interviews, like featured on the front page, not RV Spotlight interviews.

hmm imo I think there should an audio leauge for freestyling,i think that there should be more mods yes...and I think they should have a download section where people can post up links oto download stuff ya know

Definitely more mods, especially for text lounge because Open Mic and Poetic Scriptures...it's a shame to see those forums in such a state basically.

A frontpage would be an excellent addition in my opinion with interviews like I said, featured songs or topicals or battles...a sort of representation of the "best" what the site has to offer haha

We had one, but it was inactive.

How about, for the front page, all the RV awards are featured there? That way the awards mean a little more.

Word, this radio station idea has been worked out on another site but the big problem is the hosting basically...

that would be the problem cuz it would be like a job!

I do not think the hosts would be a problem because you have people in different time zones for instance and whenever someone cannot do their show, it can just be done by someone else or we can just have music playing without host.

But the actual hosting itself is the problem...getting the station itself...

1. RV Radio..that wud be bumpin..also have a bit where the audio from rv..wud have their song played durin the week..like every week people vote fo rv radio's fav song..also people cud vote on what theyd wanna hear..and also have live interviews...through skype.. its free too if yall both got a mic...

2. Competitions that are done by the board..money is allocated to the winner...the money can come from sponsors..but summin real good...i know apexx's one is goin good and so has Q's ones...but im talkin bout sponsored ones..

3. I agree with Q's interview thang..we shud have a seperate one fo audio too like Q said...its gettin big audio...and itll be koo to see what people think

Well this radio station thing is still the best idea I've heard, but we need to figure out how to do it cheaply and effectively.

1. Have pre-reqs for those wishing to mod tourneys/leagues
2. Give priority to those who know how to properly run tourneys/leagues
3. Have everybody shut the fuck up once in a while. Myself included.

when I recorded that swing and played it back, I noticed @ least 3 errors in swing...Amazing, you can't really tell how you swing unless you see if from the outside, or someone tells you.

I select maybe 1 or two things to work on during practice and leave it at that. Some of my best practices were 20 minutes or less. I believe in practicing smart, not hard, or at least a tandem of both. I'm actually going out tomorrow. The weather man says it'll be close to 60 degrees and sunny here in the city. So, that = GOLF WEATHER!

1: How about cutting out the diseased award system for Track of the Month and anything related to the audio section and determine those awards by looking at the tracks with the most views per post, the REAL measure of a tracks success. There's evidently numerous circle jerks going on in there, and the real tracks that are hits are getting shunned.

2: People who will actually don't look for ways to bitch out of dropping the feedbacks, votes, and other outlets of input to upkeep the features that's made to service them. You got people volunteering their time to run something that serves you, the least you could do is drop your wanted opinion in it.

There are many ways to make this site better...

...when I think of the 3 BEST ways, I shall post them in here.

2. Innactive Mods shouldnt be Mods...
3. An Industry hook ups side to this site.... hell its a rap site... why not have a forum where Talent scouts for labels and such can get a peek @ the audio talent on this site
