Nintendo sold 5 million DS's in japan in 14 months....

PSP is far behind -_- .. its even behind in the US.

Cuz it costs too much....

does DS have all the capabilities as the PSP...havn't heard much about it, except some dude who looks like moeman from the simpsons played his everyday on break

Yeah DS's are cool. It cant play MP3s, but you can get a card for it and make it play movies, but it doesnt do that as well as the PSP.

It has a touchscreen and a microphone.. and the games for it are dope. Its got a lot of outstanding titles, two of which are great to play online..

yeah, i always saw the dude with the touch pad thinger, and thought it was neat....i kept hearing, like coins blingin' all the time, i figured he was going at it with sonic or something

I could never get into the DS. I didnt like the idea of the flip screen, the dual screen or the touch screen.

PSP does everything I want it to. Only I cant see mine :(

And yeh i played a DS. My neighbor has one. I dunno. The dual Screen is the main thing that fucks it up ni my opinion.

no...im not really a ds kinda guy...just arent my style...i just dont like the little shitty games like zelda...all ds games seem more aimed at children

Zelda was a dope game. And I doubt any kid could finish the snes ones... they were damn hard.

Well it really depends on what you define childrens games as. Because the PSP does have its fair share of those movie-to-game shitty ass attempts at profit, but so does the DS.

Metroid prime: hunters will pretty much dominate any online PSP game because of how good the DS is with first person shooters, and its not a kids game.

One thing I find real funny is a game called animal crossing. The graphics look kiddy, so ESRB slapped an E rating on it. But its full of sexual references and innuendos and has its fair share of lesbians in it... dope.

^ animal crossing?!@?! was friggin sweet for gamecube, only game i played other than metroid...

and yeah, those zelda games snes were more than a challenge

lol at animal crossing...what i meant was that i havent seen anything like madden or tiger woods or sports games or anything for the ds and i work at eb games so i assume ive seen the majority of the games for it....but overall i just feel that the nintendo ds is generally aimed at children

High-dro: Yeah but the developers of those games probably just couldnt be bothered. Theyre those developers that churn out games for every system possible to make the max amount of profit and capitalize on franchises. Why would they waste time coding for their game to work on a touch screen?

If I ever did want to play one of those games, id just get it for PC or PS2, instead of the inferior PSP version. Theres way better games for PSP than those shit ones.

DS graphics are like N64 without anti-aliasing... actually the DS is a bit more powerful than the N64.



Nah you have your town and shit, but you can visit other peoples towns and people can come to visit your town.

I love my DS.

PSP is fun...but I heard they were so undependable, such as distilled breaking his screen...and really none of the games shien on PSP.

DS is fun as fuck...I have yet to play it online though.

And yeah I hate to admit it...but Animal Crossing is insanely addictive.
