Lol, decent shit with the Flow crap....FUNNY.. FINAL VERDICT Well to be honest this was a surprise. It was close as I imagined it would be, but Spul impressed me by coming decent again and not sticking to them cheeseball lines he likes so much. You had some nice concepts and some shit concepts, inconsistent really. However, you impressed me with some real fucking hilarious lines, like the "Vas kez my ass" nameplay and the immigration line.....they were fucking dope. To others they may not be, but I found them fucking hilarious and two of the best bars from this entire battle. You tried flipping a few concepts to get your punches, some of the times you pulled it off brilliantly, other times not so well and one or two that were completely fucking retarded. The barbie line for example, that shit was fucking gay as fuck andshould've been left out. Vaskez, he came good as I expected him to. You flipped a lot of shit in your verse, I felt you came off stronger to begin with. The personals at the start were cool, the gay one I let you off because of how you delivered it, however the second bar lost points because it was just a way of manipulating something he said to make him look gay which is played. After that though you came with some hard hitting shit, I liked the streetwise line and the one about his sex-life with the single handed shit. The alias nameplay was weak, its been done many times before and very similar to the way you used it. The main downfall to your verse were some of the closing bars. I can see how you used the homeless shit from his post to make your punches, but that was a sarcastic statement he made and majority of RV know that Spul DOES HAVE a big ass house and a basketball court. So for me it made your lines lose a lot of their appeal and power, it may work for you and others.....but by my own personal preference I didn't like them. You closed with those last two bars that were pretty average and with better wording could've been so much better. Overall, I think Vaskez started stronger but came average near the middle and ended with some weak shit and stuff that lost affect for the reasons I mentioned. Spul was average in places, but came with some real hot lines that had me laughing on the edge of my seat and I think his verse was a little more consistent and enjoyable to read. So, even though I predicted Vaskez to win...for me Spul won this battle with a funnier and more enjoyable verse. V/ - It's SPuL! |
