One thing I hate more than anything is hypocrites. Let me explain...

I hate, so much, when people (especially black folks like myself) sit down and hear some REAL ass shit, (say, the "I Have A Dream" speech, or a deep song, or a motivational sermon at church) then sit there and say "Word.", yet as soon as they're away from the situation, forget all about it and act however they want.

How can you say that YOU, as a person, look up to someone like MLK yet don't follow their ways and live how they would wish you would live? Mother fuckers nowadays will take off a school day for MLK day and go out and sell weed on MLK Street. What the fuck is wrong with you?

How can you fight someone over some race war shit and then turn around and add to the destruction and desecration of your own people? How can you say some shit without living it? How do we as minorities get mad at white people for talking down upon us and driving us down in America when in OUR hoods, where THEY'RE the minority, we do the same thing right back?

Nobody seems to comprehend the fact that our ancestors would have never fought for the freedom of their people if they would see where we would get, which is nowhere. Nobody realizes the fact that when, shit, IF we get to heaven, our brothers and sisters and not going to ask us how many white people we made suffer for their actions, but rather, how many of OUR people we helped gain freedom in all aspects.

You know what to an extent some of this I agree with, but black people
as a race needs to fix up...

For a start we need to stop thinking that our governments conspirer
against us because they really don't, What would they gain ?

I know a lot of people that hate white people but why should they ?
why is it fair for us to be racist ? but when a white persons racist it's

It's just like someone's sexuality, how can you possibly hate gay people
they are born like that, just like I was born black it's not a disease and
I can honestly say I wouldn't change it for the world.

We are the minority but if we helped each other then maybe we could
make the next step, stay in school and start thinking positive, get an
education.

My grandparents left the Caribbean on a Banana boat to give their
children a better life in the western world, my grandfather worked his
heart out providing for his children. So when the time came the
same foundations are imbedded in them.

Our ancestors had it hard, faced racism head on, do you really think
that they died just so we can sit on our arse and expect everything
to be handed to us ?

We have a chance to make something of ourselves nothing can hold
you back apart from yourself ! work for a better future so our children
can finally appreciate what our ancestors did for us, and not hate
the people that oppressed them.

We only complain because our people are supposed to be sooooo equal when you know damn well that's not true. Lots of shit eventually gets blamed on black people. For example, people are under the illusion that a bunch of black people are on welfare and it's all our fault that the country has to pay for it when in all actuality, white people are on welfare more than black people even by the percentages.

Plus, the fact that our people were oppressed leaves us with almost no history. For a 200 year block in time, all my history is some slave songs, some rebellions and a couple smart black folks' essays. You white people however have that whole period of time to advance as a society and gain knowledge. Then when we weren't under slavery anymore, YOUR people thought my people were idiots because they never had the chance and all that shit carries to this day.

I don't dislike white people or want to "complain" but the shit that is the truth gets looked down on as if it isn't such. I can't even try to speak truth without getting a bunch of sarcasm 99% of the time.
