La Cosa Nostra 02-02-06 08:00 PM

Yep.. He bowed to pressure like I knew he would..

His only hope now is the hope that he murdered camron so bad on the diss that its not just seen as promotion.. But you know.. I doubt that.. Jay Z dont really have the skill to make some Nail in the coffin style shit..

He prolly just gave that dipset poofter exactly what he wanted.........

*This is for that smart ass Acuity*

I happen to disagree with that assessment Nos. The reason why I disagree with that assessment is because Jay has been known to damage people's image with one liners. Jay's "diss" back to 50 cent was 1 bar. It resonated so much with the crowd, no further diss was necessary.

"I'm all about a dollar. What the f**k is 50 cent?"

^^^^1 bar...Shut 50 up.

Acuity 02-02-06 09:19 PM

Don't get me wrong but wasn't that before 50 blew up, so in reality few knew who he was. That's why it worked probably.

NO...what I exposed is your tendency to ride my ass whenever you decide to get on my damn nerves...

Isn't Nos' post an OPINION?

Of course it is. But, I can make a LOGICAL deduction that you agree with HIM and not ME because you didn't say to Nos, "That's your opinion." Yea it's my opinion, just like your and Nos' posts were yours. Point is...why feel the need to post saying, "That's your opinion."

<---------DOESN'T CARE

**Read my response**

Nothing came of 50's diss and 50 never uttered Jay's name again. Even 50 admitted that one line made him go "whoa".

But if you think about it 50 most likely aimed for the biggest in rap at that time, which was Jay. After he blew up he didn't need any publicity from anyone esle, as least not in the sense that he would be piggybacking off of them. Just saying that line got 50's name out lie "Who's 50 cent?". Which in turn probaly got his buzz up and led to him now. But after he lew he didin't need to respond because it would have been pointless. The whole 'whoa.' thing was simply to blow off the fact he didn't retaliate and to sorta big up Jay.

Look...I'm a Jay fan, so, I automatically appreciate much of his work. TO me, Takeover really hurt Mobb Deep's image. So, I don't know what Nos and Acuity (aka smarty pants) are talkin about.

I never said it wasn't good but I don't agree that he kills people with one bar. A song maybe but not one bar.

Your a long time fan.. I would expect you to think that...

Shiit.. Dont you even realise that if cats idolise a rapper... The dude could say "Blah blah blah fuck shit fuck ass mo fucker with my chains, diomond rings and rims sucker" and you fan mother fuckers would STILL think all his lines are golden.....

You dont see past the hype of other fans Q... Your stuck in a world where you think Jay Z is dope cause you never looked at his shit from an outside perspective and critiqued it as someone who ISNT a fan....

Dont take that as an insult... I'm sure I do the same shit when I critique pac's lines.. I been a pac fan since I first started listenin to rap... And so I imagine even though almost all pac shit is dope as fuck anyway on a real scale.. I do have a certain level of bias about my opinions....

Not really man...

Cunts dont even realise the type of politics that go on these days with the music industry... You just buy the cd's that they feed to you because the media told you thats whats cool to do...

And you really think your listening to rappers that are actually dope? Nah...

You listen to Dipset/Kanye/50/Jay/Puffy because those are the names you know.. And why do you know them? Cause some suits that sit behind a desk are running shit with hip hop and laughing at how the public will buy anything they put out if they lie about their image and promote them well enough...

I'd HATE to be a rap artist comming up in america now a days.. The days where cats can rise up and live their dreams through real talent are 100% over.... Thats an illusion now.... Dont believe me?

Try to start a rap career yourself... I can almost garentee you wont make it no matter HOW good you are...

No I dont. I listen to Dipset and Kanye. I havent bought a 50 cent, jay-z or Puffy album in years. I dont like 50 cent, Jay-z hasnt made any new songs and..Puffy? Umm, no.

If I bought the cd's that the media told me was cool to buy then I'll be listenin to Hilary Duff and D4L.

he's killin any one of your favorite rappers, dead or alive, BROTHA!

Ca'lam 02-03-06 01:12 AM

lol at this thread.

recap -

Kanye is dope.. he actually has a message and a great way to deliver it.. plus his beats are off the chain..

jay-z is popular and really successful - but hes just an average skilled rapper whos time had come.

50 cent has his moments of niceness..

eminem is dope...

tupac is dope

what have we learned ?

sucking an artists penis can leave a bad taste in your mouth - so dont do it

Joe budden? Lmfao.. Whats so good about him?

Heres a random budden verse...
---------
Everybody's so gangsta gangsta, tell me how you do it
Keep the façade that real when you not that real, that's real!
The strip is hot so I don't hear my foes beefin
That's tellin me that I bought all these burners for no reason
Come, get me thug I walk with a mini teeny tiny eeny weeny snub
And real niggaz give me love
Besides, don't make me feel like you threaten my life God (why?)
I go and cop somethin that only come with a Tripod
(And the) Old school is puff puff, pass the spark up
And white kids got high, off of magic marker
Back when 40s was liquor (but now) now shorties is bigger
They wanna be down, y'all wannabe clowns, get a grip homes
Blastin the tool, you out of character dude
You not a felon or rider, you a fellow subscriber
Who is you tellin them lies to, don't push it to a limit
to mimic you benefiting to what, the gimmicks up, BLAH

-------

And lets see... I guess I'll go with some Pressure from hilltop hoods.. Heres a random verse off their new album..

I once had time on my hands, but now handling time,
Is coping with this life cycle and the mandatory grind,
My sanity’s fine, just falling short of stamina I’m,
Searching for some food for thought to feed this famine of mind,
And when I’m stagnant I rhyme, it helps the night turn to day,
I churn my way through this nine to five and urban decay,
Believe me it’s bleak, and though the city’s breaths in its sleep,
It’s just a paddock, ain’t no where a shepherds leading these sheep,
Now most prefer it covered up lie than the truth naked,
The truth is ugly like cellulite; please don’t publicly parade it,
I hate it but to escape it would be luck on fluke,
I feel like I’m a dope beat but I’m stuck on loop,
But that’s my life cycle; freedom means everything to me,
And face value’s got us believing everything we see,
So if our eyes tell us lies the truth is we’re blind,
So keep on walking straight and narrow down illusionary lines.

More or less about the same thing.. Except you tell me which one is more origional and overall better rap lyrics... Cause I already know the answer.. And I KNOW your gonna talk some bullshit already...

Your either gonna lie through your teeth and say budden's shit is better.. Or your gonna try and act like I posted a weak verse.. If thats the case.. Then go ahead and post the best budden shit you know of.. And I'll post something that shits all over it..

I garentee you...

Terumoto 02-03-06 01:35 AM

wtf at that jay z line...

how hard is it to think of using something like that against 50 cent. If I was battling a guy called 50 cent, its the first thing that would come to my head... its like something an amateur rapper would think of.

Joe Budden - Dumb Out

Can't be finished, what nigga I beg ya pard'
I just let niggaz get a head start
I walk to the finish, y'all spread out chase
Nah spead out pace, and I'll still win the race
See I'm joggin
Other niggaz legs starts wobblin, when opportunity is start knockin
You got the crown, pass off like Stockton
It's time to work, I'm offically clocked in
He is a problem, weavin and bobbin'
Through the speculation that his label tried to drop him
I can't leave, even though it's big options
Kev only signed me, to keep this shit rockin'
Don't ask me how I'm doin, I been better
Stuck in cold Feburary, with a thin sweater
I'm far from a "YES" man, I'm a trend setter
It's no games, just a Def Jam Vendetta
Don't put niggaz in the same sink as me
I mean metaphors, storylines, deep shit, club shit, girl shit, world shit
They don't use to ink like me
Niggaz don't even think like me
Who sees what I'm watchin, he ain't poppin'
Don't deserve to drink water from the tub that I washed in
WAIT, start again, it's a privilege to breath the same air that I farted in
They want no parts with him

I dare niggaz catagerious me
If my names on a mixtape, then capitalize me
I been stopped goin' to Mixtape Awards
Don't need them to tell me, the mixtapes is yours
I had other ideas, while hittin' loot
I'm thinkin' red carpet, I went and copped a suit
See I'm thinking Grammy's
Sunglasses on, with my On Top family and a bad bitch handy
Each day there's a "W", it felt like heaven
I'm at an actress's house, that felt like neckin'
R&B on, looked and felt like Meagon
Gave me headache too, I felt like an Excedrin
Talk very fly
Least until I baught every pie, me bein' war readys in my eyes
And these dudes might as well be Jamie Foxx
Trying to sound like somebody that already died

The kid keep a snub wit 'em, good pair of gloves wit 'em
Your first week ain't right, they can't fuck wit 'em
Now if you don't sell 5 mill, they had enough of 'em
Let me find out Hip Hop's turnin' Republican
I'll sum it up to what he is about
Still new to most, they still feelin' him out
Things were type blam, Joey seasoned him out
I'm the nicest dude out since "Reasonable Doubt"
Say it ain't so
Rest In Peace Luther, there's some other niggaz gay on the low

So live, who can see 'em, no guy
I'm the Mets, was suppose to be ill in '05
As ill as the flow gets, need a piller don't snitch
So if you can't tell, I'm prepared for '06
About to OD, anybody that know me
Can tell you I'm bout to make shit feel like it's '03
More like '99
No names should be mentioned but mine, unless you talkin' Big Pun in his
prime
Maybe '96 Jay, before Dame was throwin' money around
Or 2pac without Humpty around
Or 50 before Em, Nas talkin' like a gun in his song
Cam'ron during "Children Of The Corn"
Beans before the cops came through and try to grill 'em
I'm talkin '95, Big L before they killed 'em
Em before 8 Mile, Shyne before the deal shit
Canibus, no album out before the L shit
Talkin' bout Kiss, DMX when he was fuckin' wit coke
Or Cuban Linx, with Raekwon and Ghost
I do it all, who blendin' so well in the game
Talkin' Fab, back when he was still spellin' his name
On my Diddy shit, Memphis, Grizzlie shit
Like back in the day when Clue swiped all of Biggie's shit
Rappers don't need trouble with I
Unless it's Rass Kass before the D.W.I
Or Talib with Mos, Common before "Be"
If they any less common, don't put 'em before me

See, I'm not a rapper, I'm a prophet
Tell Joe stop it, skill will speak for you, don't pop shit
Fuck jail, I'm on my payroll cop shit
I call that bootleg cable, it's no box shit
All black, lookin' grimey in the crowd
Heat on him, no shirt, don't try me when I'm out
I toast somethin' tiny that'll blauh
Ain't gotta see Paul Wall, if you want somethin' shiney in your mouth

I probably fool cats, cause I don't ride out in some big car
In the streets, like I ain't some big star
And these young mother fuckers, is about to fuck up
Like leavin' they whole career in some bitch car
No name, but it's no sublime
Nigga you know who you are, I'll end it before it goes too far

Your buzz still fucked, you a liar money
Joe's still spendin "Pump It Up", "Fire" money
Glock for hire money, don't try to mug me
Call ass cap, maybe be at mines for money
Please, what's wrong wit 'em, somethin' ain't the norm' wit 'em
Ain't too many dudes out there, out performin 'em
Some require these skills, I was born wit 'em
Street's askin' what's takin' so long wit 'em
Jump Off, I'm the best to happen
He's the answer, the who's got the next in rappin'
I suggest you ask 'em
If Hip Hop is all smoke and mirrors, then I'm the Windex and a napkin
New dudes is whack, some vet's is has-been's
Some were Top 20, till I crept right passed 'em
It's a wrap, Joey sealin' it nigga
Cold out, Long Johns still dealin' it nigga
Still peelin' it nigga
If I only get 'em two times, just know it was the dilinger nigga

It's that music, don't know how to act music
Gettin' my Kanye on, puttin' out "Crack Music"
Car jack music, out what they lack music
Send my little man, get rid of the pack music
That I'm back music, that click clack music
That A-Team, Muggs, that Fab and Stack music
Now who said they fuckin' with me
They just said that fuckin' with me, they didn't mean it (NAH)

thats actually almost the whole song
he raps straight for like 5 minutes
holla at me
Jump off joe buddens

Was gone for a minute watchin the news... Aiight no problem....

Canibus - Buckingham palace

[Canibus]
Aiyyo I stand outside the gates of Buckingham Palace
Selling reefer, puffin the chalice with the Beefeaters
Gettin so high that whenever I drop shit
it'll land on the window of your airplane cockpit
Canibus with the hot shit, "Crazy I. Click"
Niggaz is bloody idiots thinkin that they can stop this
I'll increase my strength, to a super human extent
Nigga your rhyme ain't worth sixpence
And if you can hear, smell, see, touch, and taste
then you don't need six senses to feel me punch you in the face
From Brixton, to Clapham Common, my lyrics invade Europe
like Joseph Stalin, and murder niggaz for rhymin
Spittin fire, with gasoline for saliva
As drunk as Lady Diana's driver wit reporters behind her
Alcohol in the hands of a minor
I got you panickin like bombs, with 30 second timers
Clear the buildin, evacuate women and children
Fuck what you feelin nigga, I came here to kill em
Straight shittin, from New York to Great Britain
And when we do shows we make the Queen pay admission, what!

Chorus: Canibus (and crowd)

When I say "Can-I" you say "Bus"
Can-I (BUS!) Can-I (BUS!)
Yo, when I say "Can-I" you say "Bus"
Can-I (BUS!) Can-I (BUS!)

[Canibus]
Yo.. yo..
Yo prepare for the worst
This next verse is the face of death
Me without lyrics is like a porn flick without sex
Illmatic, my lyrical skills are Jurassic
With more flavor then Skittles when I'm digitally mastered
I go off like a cannon and blow up the planet
with "No Fear," like them clothes white boys be wearin
I'm tougher than denim, lethal like venomous snake bites
The marijuana makes my eyes bright red like brake lights
There ain't a party I couldn't rock, believe that
There ain't a microphone brave enough to give me feedback
I'm strong, my word is Bond like James
Niggaz be tryin to test, but they 'week' like seven days
MC's run away when I kick it; they act so chicken
they should come with a large drink and a biscuit
My style's radioactive, massive atomic
I plan to push the Earth in front of Halley's Comet
Breakin the +Facts of Life+ down like Tudy, I'm raw like sushi
with more +Vocab+, than three fuckin Fugees
So recognize or be hospitalized
cause lyrically on a scale of one to ten I'm twenty-five

Chorus

[Canibus]
Yo, yo, a little bit of weed and some Henessey
got me ready to set it with kinetic energy
See I need much more energy then my enemies
If I wanna make more Bill's then Bellamy
So I could be on MTV
with women constantly tellin me I resemble Billy Dee
I make fly rhymes to get my name on the scene
Then when I'm on the scene I do shows to get the green
Then I take the green, buy a automobile machine
for that thing on page 43, in Jet Magazine
Canibus is the ultimate executioner's dream
Swingin the guillotine, cause whenever the head is severed
from the human body with a sharp enough weapon
the brain remains conscious for ten seconds
Long enough for me to give you one last message
And when you get to Hell you can tell Lucifer I said it
Don't ever get it confused, fuckin with Canibus
the human Rubix Cube like you got somethin to prove
Yo, whoever grabs the mic after me'll get booed
Get everything in the club thrown at you and your crew
From Moet bottles to bar stools, fruits and foods
You got a album out, you get hit with your CD too
Runnin outside, cryin, lyin, denyin
that you ain't The Gay Rapper, but you got fucked by him
What's the difference? Y'all niggaz still ain't in lyrical fitness
Too busy mixin your bid'ness with your bitches
While I be in the lab composin forbidden scriptures
So wicked I got, Satan ejaculatin on his fingers
Like Dirk Diggler, in the middle of +Boogie Nights+
Sniffin white, livin the hype, he ruined his life
But I'm a MC of a different type, yeah that's right
Make sure your shit is tight, or I'ma snatch yo' mic, nigga!

This shit is easily 13234089534725349 times better than anything Joe budden has drops in his entire existance.....

You're dumb.

If you think Canibus' non aimed random ass (I'll fuck you up in so many different ways ) ramblin can compare to Dumb Out.
Canibus raps about NOTHING at all.
Throughout ALL of his ENTIRE songs he raps about how he will fuck you up how much weed he smokes/sells and how he thinks he's a lyrical God.
Lol, his raps are extremely fuckin aimless.
Be fa real.
I liked the verse you posted up the first time that you compared to Joe Budden
dude was kinda ill.

oh yeah, he dropped a few story tracks that was decent too.
talkin about Canibus

Dude... You serious?

That budden shit was about 80% pointless rambling on about nigga this nigga that "mo fucka im a hustla yo i got real street cred yo" yada yada yada... AND SO ON...

That shit about canibus rappin on pointless shit is just a carbon copied argument that all people use to hide the fact that his verses are better than their faverite commercial rappers... The shit jus doesent make any difference...

Joe budden cant rap as good as canibus.... Or eminem.... Or GZA.... Or RZA.... Or Inspectuh Deck.... Or Immortal Technique.... Or about 50 other rappers in the game right now.....

He just aint as good as your making out dude... Sorry to burst your bubble...
