Family Guy vs. Simpsons?
 

The Simpsons have thrown like 5 low blows at Family Guy that i've seen, does anyone know anything more about this?

ive only seen one and that was todays episode, but the simpsons have like 3058358374 episodes out, but family guy is funnier tho, i would rather watch that than the simpsons

well this is hard but i say i would rather watch the simpsons over family guy cus its more funnier and homer is fucking funny......but yet family will go places the simpsons wont go but overall the simpsons i guess

but south park or futurama would me cool too

I never knew the simpsons threw low blows at the Family Guy. I def. Want to see that. The Simpsons in my mind is better then the family guy, cuz they have been about longer and are still funny. Some family guys shows are stupid, but there funny ones are usally better then the simpons.

Family Guy lost so much of its value during the 4 years when nothing but re-runs were shown. It got incredibly old real quick.

They're not, for the reason that they get played out within a few weeks after their debut. Family Guy does not have a big enough library to be shown 5 nights a week, which greatly depletes its novelty and entertainment value in my eyes. Watch The Simpsons Mon-Fri for a month, at 5 and 6, and I can almost guarantee you won't see the same episode twice.

If there's a new episode of Family Guy on Sunday, you'll see it again on Thursday. If there's a new episode of The Simpsons on Sunday, you won't see it again for a while.

i know that, the simpson have 100 or more episodes more than family guy dawg, simpsons has 17 seasons out right now, family guy is on its 5th, what would you expect?? also im sure simpsons make more episodes than family guy reguarly, BUT thats not the point im trying to make, the point is a fresh episode of family guy> than a fresh episode of the simpsons

simpsons, easy....the longevity of the series speaks for itself...if you can sit and watch episodes from 1989 that you have seen upwards of 20 times, and you STILL laugh..that's how you know it is the best show of all time...family guy is more directed at unintelligent people with it's type of "stupid" comedy, whereas the simpsons is a smarter, more political, more satirical comedy..also, family guy deals with mainly peter, louis, and stewie...but the simpsons has established an entire feeling of the different characters of the entire town of springfield..you know detailed histories, characteristics and different quirks of over 100 characters that have been on the show....when you think about this type of thing, if you STILL think family guy is better...you are stupid

If anybody has any future Simpsons seasons downloaded (7th season and on), I need the "Das Bus" episode. It's the one that's based off of Lord of the Flies, and I got a bet going with someone about the beginning of the episode.

I have a copy of it on VHS somewhere, but I'm unable to find it.

The beggining of that episode is them having a fruit race. Milhouse throws a great fruit and it rolls to the pedals. Otto steps on the gas and hits the great fruit, squirting juice in his eye. The bus crashes and they end up on an island where their food gets eaten and they blaim milhouse and it turns out to be a monster/animal. Or is that the whole episode?

No, it's before that. Even before the Model UN meeting, which is why they were on the bus in the first place.

The description we found started with the Model UN meeting. It's my belief that the episode started before then, with the Simpsons watching The 10 Commandments. Because God was telling Noah to build the ark 300 cubits in length, and he's like "EXACTLY 300 CUBITS!" So Lisa or Bart says "Wow, God is so in-your-face!" and Homer says "Yeah, he's my favorite fictional character".
