I know fruitoops but I never even wanna approach using it, I'm lookin for somin better as well.

well theres ejay and one that ppl use for techno alot but i forgot what its called

Cakewalk
Logic Pro
Cubase SX
Reason

all of them own FL by the way

i guess im the only serious producer up in this thread at the moment...........

most good producers in the game right now will tell you its not the software or equipment you use...even though it helps...theres people who use reason who nare better than some who use fruity loops....and vice versa...

look at 9th wonder..the guy makes beats for the top rappers in the game and hes using fruity loops....

just cos you got good programs or equipment dont make you hot.....like kanye west uses the old mpc...

my point being..fruity loops is a powerful program if you know how to use it...

I know FL has potential but im talking about if u took each software to its limits

if u still think FL would b better than lets say Logic then you are just proving ur own ignorance

im not saying fl is the best....but i was just guessing the thread maker would be alot better suited to fl rather than logic..and most other beat making programs...

but Cubase is easily my fave program. I never got the hang of reason, but i got it adapted, and patch it through cubase touse the sampler. Cos its ill..

Reason is sick once you get used to it...its like a much better version of FL
I ain't too familiar with Sonar but I know its meant to be good. Logic is one of the dopest programs out there but you need a midi keyboard to get the best results, cubase is good, but i dont think it compares to logic in my opinion. Pro Tools is industry standard atm but the barrier to entry of using that is the sheer cost involved cos to get the best out of it u need to buy hardware and shit. You can buy the LE version of Pro Tools that doesn't require hardware to use but that aint got as much potential innit. Fruity Loops is the easiest one to get to grips with but you need a whole pile of plugins to be getting the best out of it to be honest.
