How beef starts in the industry
 

I've often wondered how beef truly starts in the rap industry. I've come to a couple conclusions.


#1...Most people who have beef with each other were cool with each other at one point.

When everyone is broke and hungry, people are benevolent. Then, when money and egos start running wild, friction can arise.

I feel like whoever is around me now that accepts me being a "nobody" will be the main people I keep around me when I'm "somebody". Once the fame and fortune starts rolling in, I think it gets increasingly hard to determine who you can trust.

Honestly, I don't know if I'd change if I became rich and famous. maybe


But, I think people who let their egos get in the way of friendships will ultimately be alone, famous or not.


I think most beefs start because of jealousy or ego. Money definitely plays a part in that as well.


any opinions on this topic?

Someone says I'm the best, someone challenges them, and beef is made.

That's the most common I think.

Like maybe.

And It also depends on who you are and what you belieave with your point of view n stuff

ummmmmmmmmm females....... that shit starts beef...... not usually, because its kinda stupid to start some rap beef over a girl, but once in a while u get it

but yea, the most serious beefs usually start with ppl who were cool and shit before...... they get sick/jealous/etc of the person

RBs a shitty site.

Could start by stupid things too, things that dont mean much, namedropping etc.

Also if someones broke they may try and escalate beef for publicity.

doesnt it sometimes happen with personal things kinda outside the industry...

dont know to much about it,but didnt jay sleep with nas' baby mama or something...

and when 50 cent first bumbed into ja rule when 50 was nobody and ja supposedly ignored him and showed him no respect.
Or didnt 50 say it was because one of 50's homies stole ja's chain then ja offered a watch for the chain back...

basically its when one artist does something that they dont like...which could be anything...like camron claiming that jay stole everything from dame and what not...

or fat joe and jada doing a song with ja which caused 50 to beef with them.

theres a whole bunch of shit and reasons why people can beef...

but in my opinion most artists beef because they have known each other or met each other outside of the industry and started beefing,just like ordinary people do in real life...and then the artists take it to their music.....and the reasons for beefing are loads of different things.....basically because they've done something to piss the other guy off...

Beef aint jus fights between people...
Beef is ANY problem that gets between you and succeeding in your day to day goals.

As for beefin with other rappers... Shit man, its not like there is a set amount of ways it can happen... Jeolously, clashing ego's, that he said she said bullshit, personal problems, violence, accidents, mis-understandings..........

There aint a definition as to what is and what isnt beef... Its jus slang... You got some sort of problem in ya day to day....you got beef.....

Whether its that you gotta be somewhere and your car broke down, whether its you got a deadline to meet and people round you are being unreliable or whether some rapper talked shit about you on a track and you gotta decide what ya next move is...

My advice.... Dont try and disect something that is so random.. Jus accept that it exists and its nothing more than human nature.......
