Battle hostings a nice idea.

Why not do what RM does in the cypher, award a win to the best..

^^^ In the same vein, I thought about an idea where the best verse of the week gets 1/2 a point, then if they get verse of the week again they get a point added and they can wipe a loss off or add a win. But I dunno, at first I thought it was cool then I talked to someone about it and they said it trivalizes wins which I sorta agree with.

What does everyone think about that idea?

There should never be a way to increase your record or wipe losses and shit because that takes away a part of what a league is all about. You should get your wins by beating people, not getting points for extra wins because you completely murdered someone with some spectacular piece of work. You don't see that shit in the NFL or NBA and shit.

"Oh, for two weeks in a row now the Lakers have played the best, lets give them extra points for being so magnificent."

If you are going to have a points system, then you could try something that was done by dirtboy69 with the old league back from ReLaunched.

Like, each time you have some hoebags that are gay and no-show, the week that they are banned, you make a thread listing all those who no-showed and then the people signed into the league drop a punchline on one of the members who are on the list and on like the last two days of the leagues running week, people vote on who dropped the best punchline.

^ That is only if you use a points system to work out the rankings. And so you could like give 3pts to 1st place, 2pts to 2nd place, 1pt to 3rd place.

And make it so that the current champion of the league can not participate in that shit. Then, that would also help with the whole annoying shit of having the same championship battles between the same two battlers every other week.

Sounds cool, but only problem is I ain't using a point system lol.

Ranks will be the tried and tested way of if u win u move up, lose u move down. I was just thinking of points for the best verse thingy.

its a good insentive, but to be honst...more people are needed in the league first.
