General Tsos chicken and ummm I think pop tarts
1 Ps...no, I wouldn't IM you Crazy because you missed the whole point of what I was saying in that thread a long time ago. Iz coo tho...what's in the past is in the past...Just tell LK that! lol |
Uhm, which thread? I've been in a lot of threads, bro...the thread about how you were being targetted in a thread designated to disgrace you? What's the difference, really? Just curious.
|
Quote:
nah...the difference is, I stated that people seemed to "conveniently" ignore the dumb shit being said by other people...Then, you came in the thread and did exactly what I was saying, on purpose or not...I just thought it was ironic. But, being as though you keep bringing it up, it must have bothered you what I said. Forget it man  |
Nah, I haven't exactly brought it up that much...I brought it up in a thread about you IMing other people, and then again there where I noticed you had kind of done the same thing you had condemned.
But whatever man, it doesn't matter. |
Quote:
what did I condemn? I said "you proved my point"...how is that condemning anything...? Come on bro, stop trying to make me wrong when I'm not... stupid shit...you got something else to do I'm sure of it |

You had condemned ignoring the stupid shit all the others were saying and targeting the person the thread was designated to insult. |

bro...I think you're too smart for your own good. umm...Me NOT saying anything to you about corroborating what I said in my thread to LK is not contradicting what I said because I have nothing to do with you or your intentions in that thread. I'm under no obligation to correct you. I made the statement, "I think it's amazing how people never seem to say anyone else is wrong but me"...Then, you came in and said, "Q, u were wrong for so and so"... ^^^My IM to you consisted of, "HAHA, I find that funny that you proved what I said in my thread." Nothing is being condemned, advocated, or dispelled. |
I think your IM consisted more of 'everyone is out to get me', but whatever dude...this argument is childish, and so am I, so whatever...I got shit to learn, and since the main function of this thread is basically accomplished (though ysdat wasn't exactly very descriptive, but he still gets the awesome sig I made him), time to close it.
So word. |

Well that strongly depends on the specific reigon your talking about.
400 years ago the world was more isolated and large, and generally each reigon had their own styles and tastes when it comes to food. I can answer your question, but I just need to know where... |
America, I'm thinking, but it's not limited to that. Indians were vegetarians, weren't they? Or did they prefer meat? I recall reading about both...anyway, just any part...preferably one of the more established regions of the world...
You know what the higher class in Europe ate? Dope cakes 'n shit? |
And ayo, Nos...you need some kind of way for us to communicate instantly, so I can share my thoughts on Madagascar with ya...no AIM? No MSN, or Yahoo?

America -- 400 years ago was full of farmland, they ate a lot of beef steaks and your regular farm food. Potatoes, vegetables, etc. Indians, no, they arnt vegetarians. The hindu religion does not permit the eating of pork. However all other animals are fair game so long as they are slaughtered facing the correct way and blessed before they are killed. Back in those days, there was no hygene, so people were a lot more cautious about eating meat, due to the fact it could be diseased. Which is the origional reason for superstitions such as blessing the meat and all that shit... Indians are actually a large part of influence on the chinese culture, they ate a lot of rice and curried dishes. (they still do btw) European nobility ate loads of meat, lamb, beef, pork, deer, chicken, quail etc. Their food was mostly freshly slaughtered, but they often doused their meats in sauces real heavily to mask the fact that they had little to no refridgeration, therefore it went off usually before they ate it and had to be cooked pretty hardcore to stop disease. Their salads also usually were slightly heated to mask weltering.. Europe is a real spread appart reigon though dude so different styles of foods are found in different areas. In italy for instance, they were (and still are) heavy on pasta dishes with loads of home made tomato sauces and meat balls. All their pasta was usually home made aswell. But thats not even the half of it, because there are mad shitloads of different parts of itality and they all have their own unique cooking styles and what they prefer.. Where as, in places like germany, they ate a lot of sausage meats and cheese.. You could seriously write a long ass essay on all the different foods people ate 400 years ago dude.. That was the beginning of the scientific period, which is a REAAAL interesting time period. If you look past all the naievity of basic measures of cleanlyness we are into these days.. And dont mind medival medical crackpots who had little to no idea what they were doing.. Its would be an awesome time to get into. |

Alright, thanks. As for the Italian information, yeah..I'm half-Italian myself, and everytime I visit my grandparents up in Ohio, we usually eat homemade foods...nyoki for instance, I believe it's spelled...homemade spaghetti...all that dopeness.
Thanks, that's a bit more helpful than ysdat. |
