Proof just died, that's why we want to make a dedication song for him. It's called paying our respects to the man. Just because we don't make a song for Jam Master Jay, Biggie, or Pac doesn't mean we don't respect them. But they've been dead for 10 years. That's why no one makes a song for them. When they first died people made them songs.

How do you know who's "fault" it is seeing that you don't even know who killed dude? Could be anyone, you don't know if they're a gangsta rapper, so who you gonna blame? People make up their own minds. You're doing nothing to introduce that person to an alternative other than violence. All you're doing is "pointing fingers" at groups you don't even know are responsible or not.

Not necesarrily, it could have been the same exact dude who shot at Obie. The dude may work for a label and is trying to destroy Aftermath for all we know. We have no knowledge of what is going on, only the people who were there, the police, and the Detroit streets know what's going on.

I constantly big up Biggie in my raps...it's my homage to him...So, I don't do tribute songs to him or any rapper who was slain, really...

I think tribute songs are okay if someone wants to do it...But, I don't see the point in making a big deal about it unless people are THAT affected by his death.


If anything, we should make a song about stoppin the fuckin violence in rap.
