I asked about this before, but I still experience it. When I put my all in a song and drop something good, I feel a lil depressed after. I don't know if it's depression, but it's weird. I'm proud of the song. But, it's almost like an empty feeling. Has anyone else experienced this?

It's what Indeph said...You put your all into a track, and when it's done, it's almost like you're exhausted. And, I only get this feeling when it's a track I really care about, one I really poured my soul into like the one mentioned above.

^^Possible in some cases...But, I've noticed that that isn't the case...When I drop a track that's ho-hum, I don't really care and I don't get this feeling. It's only on a track I've spend days writing, hours recording/mixing...and has a subject that's important to me...

Well..it's like the old saying, "No work of art is ever finished, just abandoned."

In that sense, I can understand why someone would feel that way.

It's funny tho...But, I almost always know when a song I do will be well received and/or a blessing to other people...You almost get the sense that something special is happening as you write/record it. I'm not saying the song is the greatest thing since sliced bread. I'm just saying compared to many of my other songs, this one took on an identity and life all its own.

ok ... let me play psychologist/psychiatrist for you knuckleheads... it is withdrawal.. because when you put that much effort and emotion into a project you get an adrenalin rush ... when the project is finished the amp or rush from the adrenalin ..subsides...which leaves you in a mild state of depression...other neuro chemicals that are involved are seratonin and dopamine ..which are all triggers for pleasure sensors in the brain... and like after every high ...whether its drug induced or experienced by other means after every peak or crest .. there is a trough... NOW... the truth has been spoken... bow down at my wisdom!!!!!!! bitches...go fuckin read a book or something!...and take my retard test you fuckin retards!!!
