The teacher before class told him no N word, but the song doesn't have the same effect without, as its talking about how blacks are low in society and things need to be changed.

he's white..shouldnt say it reguardless. he's not a part of the struggle that he supposidly believes in so strongly to recite in front of a class to be given the privelage to say The "N" Word in any kind of way. He only spoke of this poem because it was Pac's poem. Im sure not because of his experience or his belief in it.

course he got suspended, what were they gonna do, let him say "the N word" and not discipline him? The school would be in trouble out the anus for that one, even though he didn't mean it in a derogatory way.

i find it as a disrespect to rap music if u can say the n word because its in a book writen by a certain person and u can't say it if its in a poem writen by another person. but if the teacher tells him not to say it u have to take it up to someone higher then the teacher before just sayin the word in class b/c only a retard would expect not to be punished for disobeying a direct order, thats kinda a slap in the face, although i hate teachers and would prolly do it anyway knowing that i would prolly get punished. but fuck it if he's white or not, if he was black and wasn't allowed to say the n word ya'll would have a totally different opinion.

He didn't say it in a derogatory way to a black person. He said it when he was studying literature that had the word in it... Namely Pac's changes.

And this was for the sake of education. I always tell kids to shutup, but then 5 minutes later they'll be talking again... Doesnt mean they deserve to be suspended.

And that teacher was kind of being stupid, saying, oh leave out things that add to the impact of the piece. In english class, if theres swearing, blasphemy, sexual references or any of that shit, its acceptable as long as its part of the text. I dont know why the N word should be any different.
