It should really be pronounced "Wi-yi-yi-yi-yi-yi-yi-yi!" though.

Its apparently supposed to mean like... Wii as in "We" ... like together we can make a better world for gaming. They said its to kind of break down the wall between gamers and non gamers, and mean that "we" can all have fun...

tell me why no one cares... nintendo hasnt been hot since James Bond 007: Golden Eye... once playstation hit tha market... nintendo got run outta business... and their new concept with the controllers is TRASH!!

lmao... Not hot since Goldeneye? I guess you just ignored all the classic releases after that for N64... And all the ill games on gamecube (which ultimately failed because of bad marketing)... And the complete and utter world domination of the GBA and its games, the most successful gaming platform EVER, only rivalled by the PS2 which hasnt quite matched its sales yet.. And the nintendo DS with all its dope games, that has outsold basically every other gaming console in Japan, Asia, and Europe and is predicted to sell a lot more units than the GBA did...

Sure the Playstations (X,One & 2) were successful and they were great consoles, but nintendo is still ahead in sales and profits.

And personally, I love the idea of the new controller. Its so innovative and original, and it will undoubtedly make games a lot more fun. Do you even know how it works?
