i fuckin am...i'm praying Rooney gets taken and hopefully plays some part as he broken his 4th metatarsal bone and fractured another they've estimated 6 weeks out (now jus over 5 weeks) but that puts him back in the frame the day before our opening game...so he prolly won't be match fit until @ least knockout stages...if we get there...

I think this year is our (Englands) best chance of winning for years and years. If Rooney gets back then I can see us in the final with Brazil. But to be honest I can't see them beating them.

Brazil currently have the best team they've had since Pele, Tostao, Rivelino, Carlos Alberto and Jairzinho were playing. They had an awesome team late 70's with Zico, Socrates, Falcao and Toninho Cerezo etc but didn't win anything.

carricks more of a holding player. should be a 4-5-1 formation with becks on the right, j cole on the left carrick behind gerrad & lamps. with defoe or bent up front.

1) Jenas & Carrick yea are both good...i'm not too fussed which one goes coz honestly i rate them both

2) "Fat" Frank being dropped???...HELL NO...for a start he's Premierships top scoring midfielder plus he's consistantly scoring for England...please Critic we see eye to eye on lots but sorry bro right now centre midfield is definitely Gerrard & Lamps IF Rooney goes...then Cole on left Lamps & Gerrard Centre & Becks on the right but i think Rooney will go but not play till at LEAST 1/4 finals...so Wright Phillips on the right Becks & Lamps Centre & Gerrard on left (played left midfield in 2-1 over Chelsea)

Joe Cole should play second striker to Owen IMO...he's got most of the traits Rooney has i.e strength, pace, skill, control, vision...can't really fault him...fucka 4-5-1 Owen ain't a lone striker...he's always been partnered at club level international level he wouldn't stand a chance unless he was a natural lone striker...however Bent is so if Owen isn't fit enough then Bent should lead the front if it ends up being a 4-5-1 as he's Englands only natural lone striker...and he's proved himself
