Tha Q. 05-06-06 05:42 AM

I had the most amazing dream last night...I stood before God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Normally, when I eat spicey food (i.e., General Tso's chicken) I have wild dreams. Well, there's no excuse this time. I dreamed that I and my cousin Monique stood before God on judgment day.

The one thing I remember most about this dream was that God is so patient. As He judged Monique, I remember feeling fear because I began to relive all the "bad" things I'd done. However, when it became my turn to be judged, it felt like more of a father giving his son a gentle scolding. In this dream, God even talked about homosexuality. He made it clear that he viewed gay acts no differently from any other sin.

...And, as We stood before God, it was as if there were two giant I-Max movie screens flanking us left and right. As God spoke, images appeared on the screens, presumably images from my life.

It felt so real. I felt so assured standing before God. The one thing I remember most about being in God's presence in this dream was how much compassion He has. It's very warm. For those of you who have fathers, imagine God being a father and just disciplining his children.

It was amazing.

P.S. I also saw his image. I can't describe what I dreamed in words though. It's almost like staring in a mirror. God is a fire, a deep sea of warmth. That's what I remember most from this...is the warmth of God.

Yea...people can say I imagined this or that it was all a DREAM...maybe so...But, I know how I "felt" in the dream and how I feel now...

In the dream, I could clearly see God. But, for some reason, I can't put it into words now. Put it this way...Looking into the face of God feels like all the warmth and comfort you can ever imagine. And yes, he was on a throne.

Come on now, I just said I was playing OR hating. I'm just saying, sometimes your subconsious'll create your dreams to stimulate your peace of mind. And freal to me all the sins are sins for a reason. And I'm sure if I'm proud of myself for a day, it wouldn't be the same as killing ppl for a day. They're called the 7 deadly sins in my opinion because with an entire mass doing it it'll lead to the destruction of the human race. And if everyone was to have a sin such as lust or desire, it would do less damage than humans not reproducing with a sin such as homosexuality. BUT if the humans had pride, they woudln't be influenced by other sinners because they take pride in their beliefs. It seems like if one sin is commited you need another sin to keep from falling down the same path of the others.

Of course dreams are from the subconscious...But, son, come on, if you are quoting bible on me, then you know God has ALWAYS, ALWAYS used dreams to speak to people. So, why come in here and hate?

As far as the 7 "deadly" sins go, they're called deadly sins because they lead to a spiritual death as well.

Please indeph, do not turn this into a religious debate. I read your statement. You had your word. Move on please.
P.S. Homosexuality is not one of the 7 "deadly" sins...Lust is though. So, why attempt to make homosexuality the "worst" sin of all? That's not scriptural at all.

ya it's what i'm trying to get at you can SEE it but when you try to put it into words...you jus can't it's like on the tip of ya tongue it's like you'd have to invent a new word to describe what you saw coz regular english words jus ain't enough

"jesus christ" I just said I'm not hating. You're hating on me for disagreeing with you. This is a discussion board, not a "please someone totally agree with me on this" board. Fuck out of here.

What are you disagreeing with exactly...that I had this dream? What this dream meant?

come on son...I'm just telling u what I experienced...I don't need you to come in here and offer your "explanation" of what it was. I didn't ask that.

Tha Q. 05-06-06 06:02 AM

PS...Indeph...don't confuse NATURAL repercussions from sin with SPIRITUAL repercussions.

If I say a curse word, that OBVIOUSLY will have less repercussions in the natural than if I kill someone...

In God's eyes, sin stinks PERIOD. And, when we sin, we need to repent and move on. People make such a big fuss about it because they don't understand the nature of Christ or the new covenant.

NE WAY...Im done with this convo because you're in the mood for an argument and I'm not.

My bad, bad use of words. I meant you're hating on me for saying something you didn't like. I'm just telling you what I thought the dream was, I know you didn't ask for it, but I decided to give it. I just believe strongly that each sin isn't equal, it'll completly confuse everyone's morals. It'll either make people cry and get completly depressed over stealing a pencil, or have serial killers feel midley guilty over taking lives. C'mon I dunno if you care about this shit as much as me, but I'm concerned about how people's morals are just being destroyed with certain logic. I'm not badmouthin you, I'm just passionate.

^^exactly...

I'm just gonna sit back and wait for people to offer their "explanations" of what this dream meant when I never asked for an explanation in the first place. Real or not, the feelings I had in the dream were real. And, I can "remember" those feelings more than the details of what God looked like in the dream.

I'm telling you. You can never share anything on this board without people trying to be smart.

Indeph 05-06-06 06:07 AM

You judge pretty quickly, you had no idea what my motives were for saying what I said. All you did was dismiss what I said and assume I was out to do something I wasn't so you'd feel like you're being attacked. Easier way to avoid shit I guess. Whatever.

^^ok...but that really has nothng to do with my dream...

BUT, let's examine your theory.

Look at the people whom God have chosen throughout history to represent him.

Moses: committed MURDER, had ANGER issues and a speech impediment

King David: mass murderer, Adulterer, Lustful

Solomon: luuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuust

Noah: After God saved him from the flood, he got Drunk and was acting a fool

^^^^Spiritually speaking, certain sins have more repercussions than others, yes. I'm saying that in God's eyes, Sin stinks. And, in God's eyes, ALL SINS can be forgiven. That's what I mean when I say "sin is sin".

hmm...RV...home of the SMART ALECKS...

yea...my presumtion was valid, esp. since certain people have a history of being ignorant when it comes to me, religion, and discussions. It's why I won't be on this board much longer. The maturity level doesn't exist. I can have a debate. But, I don't see the point in being dumb about it. "God told me murder was ok" <------------ Prime example. No where in my post did I suggest, or even IMPLY, that God said sin was ok.

fair enough bro...

but people do have an opinion themselves i think Indeph's jus trying to get across his point of view...

i'm not getting involved in the argument but not everyone believes in spirtual experiences or out of body experiences he's jus delivering to you what HE believes it may have been down to...

personally i do...i'm into the spiritual paranorma...and ye i believe in God but i'm not actively christian...but i'm the type of person who's always down for both Spiritual & Scientific side of things...that's my 2 pennies anyway...but ye obviously to have had that dream...something must be about to happen...

Tha Q. 05-06-06 06:14 AM

PS...I venture to say the AMOUNT that you sin willfully has more of an impact that what you do. It's a combination of both though.

*still wonders why this is turning into a religious debate when I simply recounted a dream*

Yeah I definetly feel you on that. My mind moves kinda fast so saying what thing usually leads to me going further into it. And I try to dwell into why the sin I do is bad and not if god will forgive it. If I knew I was going to hell no matter what I'd still follow what I believe is right. I'm strong enough to practice restraint in order to better the world. I'M NOT TRYING TO HATE ON YOU OR ANYTHING, freal man just think about it ok? Cause from what I've seen you're dedicated to following Christ. All that shit is in you, and you can do what, maybe even more, what he did if you just thought about every single move. -_- please dont imply that im doing anything negative cause it really urks me

I'm not being mature? You're much older than me and it seems like you're completly making prejuduce remarks. "Certain people" having a history of doing something doesn't mean I will. And I DID have a dream God told me murder was ok. Did I say I was joking? No. I can say whatever I want.

u tryna scare the bajesus out of me?

lol....nah

I know that biblically speaking, God has used dreams to speak to people before. And, that's how I'm viewing this. God is a judge. But, when you're a child of God, that "judgment" is nothing more than him scolding you as a father would. You feel guilty, but you never feel cold.

That's what I'll take from this experience. It's encouraged me to continue to believe in God. This isn't the first time I've dreamed that I spoke with God either. The first time he showed me the earth from a different perspective.

Well, being as though God has ordered his believers to slaughter their enemies in the past, I can see that. The bible confirms that. Anyway, I'm so jaded about this site though. Like I said, you can't have a deep discussion without the immaturity. I'm not saying you are immature. I'm saying that's how it normally goes down.

Indeph 05-06-06 06:22 AM

Yeah I know what you mean, you just gotta ignore it most of the time. That's what I do, either that or just throw it back at em twice as much.

Like I stated earlier, I remember there being like two giant movie screens on my left and right. Images flashed across them. I assume they were images of my life. God said many things in the dream, but I can't remember them all now. All I can remember mostly is how I felt in his presence.

In the dream, God gives off this amazing sense of compassion. Even as he scolded me it was compassionate. It felt like a parent, not a "cold, judgmental" God.

Like I said though, it could have just been my subconscious concocting things. But, I do believe that God uses dreams to speak to people sometime.

I believe its not all a concoction..

Things like this image wise are most likly from personal experience and expectation which is a product of imagination. But the dream itself I'd be almost certain was god inspired.

Sometimes we need these kind of experiences to help put us in the correct mindframe to deal with occurances in life.

Dont let cats on this site drown out the underlying feeling this dream gave you though... Personally if I was you, I wouldnt have bothered telling these cats in the first place...

None of them will give the answers your looking for.

If Satan was impersonating God, don't you think he would've had Q remember something like 'my teachings have been shattered by man, here is my word straight from my mouth'.

And I dunno, even if he is warm and compassionate, how is he when a sinner who does not repent stands before him? But dope dream.
