If it was still traditional, there wouldn't be divorces, pre-nups, sham marriages, hardly any punishment for adultery etc. Marriage has lost it's meaning. They should just change the name of it to like "legally binding partnership" or something, then idiots wouldnt get all butthurt about gays marrying when they're the ones defiling it by cheating on their wives, having sex with whoever they want before they get married and getting three divorces.

Should it matter whether gays get married or not? ... What is "marriage"? ... Some man-made concept that makes things more convenient, or in some cases inconvenient. People worry too much about foolish things. Instead of caring about how people live their lives, why doesn't the government care about the crap state of their country, and the immoral wheelings and dealings that go on behind the scenes.

Its wrong for two people to have a relationship. This coming from the same government that thinks war is OK. Whats worse... seeing a gay couple, or somebody losing a loved one?

I'm rambling on... But yeah you get my basic point.

PS...this bill has NOT passed yet in the Senate. It probably won't. So, states will still decide for themselves and courts will uphold those laws.
