Every individual stands with the thought that their improvements would be so minimal and insignificant, than as a whole cycles of destruction continue. That kid who felt he couldn't do anything, does nothing, marries a wife who as a child too did nothing, have kids and never bother to teach the morals of enviormental prosperity... Across the world this happens and your kids become their kids and our planet becomes yesterday's forgotten motivation. It's hard to get people to actually alter a lifestyle for the sake of something that is so unrealistically immense in comparison to their own little lives.

During the recent recorded anthropic history...We have, as a species, no recollection of what occurances may take place leading up to an ice age.

400 years is nothing but a fucking spec on a reletive scale talking about the 5.4 billion year old rock we reside on. Now we do know there has previously been an ice age on planet earth, it is very possible we may be in somewhat of a reverse of that effect like being on the other end of the cycle.

The greenhouse effect would also be a proven contributor, but we cant rule out that it may not be the sole agent in the earths rising temperature...

Now we are blaming Bush for global warming?

What the hell is everybody on? Global warming has been a problem ever since we developed aerosol cans. If you have ever graffitied then you have caused global warming. If you have ever driven a car, you have caused global warming. The only thing Bush has done according to that article is not cost 5 million people their jobs.

You all will never be satisfied with Bush because you don't want to be. You want to hate him and you want everything to be his fault so you have someone to blame.

Also, this generation is not that special. We have gotten a war (same as any other generation), we have global warming (same as the past 5 generations if not more), we have conflicting moral issues (same as all generations), the only difference is we are starting to see what we are doing is actually going to bite us in the ass and now we need to prevent it, and the true heroes are the people who try to help.

Too many people think that the little things they do will not help, but if you multiply that by 20 millions times, then it will.

Bush cannot cause global warming alone, you have to help.

Sides, if he did do something you would blame him for the 5 million jobs lost anyway. So shut the fuck up. Bush is not responsible for global warming, you are.

promote and fund alternative sources of energy instead trying to gather all the oil he possibly can so americans can continue to live in abundance? =/ trust me, if the government wanted to, it could flip all those trillions of dollars being thrown/gained for fossil fuels, and flip it all around to air, wind, and solar energy, but they choose not to because they take advantage of americans need for oil right now
