Any downside to getting a Boost Mobile phone?
 

yea...I'm bout to get a new cell...FINALLY

I broke my contract wit sprint and owe them like 20o + dollars

o well...

So, now, I have no service...

I'm looking at a pre paid joint because I can't seem to keep my bill where I want it, no matter what I do.

I think sprint was robbin me.


Right now, I'm considering Boost Mobile and/or Virgin Mobile (which I know is Sprint)

arrrrrrrrrg

Any suggestions?

Only downside to Boost Mobile is that it's like 25 cents a minute. 80 minute cards are 20 dollars. The upside is that if people you talk to a lot also have them you can just use the walkie talkie feature which is only like 4 minutes a day for unlimited usage that day.

yeah pre-paid is what i had..cuz its the only phone i could get being under 18......i got it and the 30 dollar card lasted me about 3 weeks

no doubt...but, I'm tryna save $$$$$$$ Plus, I still owe sprint for breaking my contract...Another provider might try to charge me an arm and a leg for doing that...

Also, I don't talk on the phone alot...300 minutes don't even last me 1 month...So, I figure prepaid is the way to go for me.

Yea...didn't know Cingular had affordable pay-as-you-go phones/plans...I'm going with them. I already have a phone in mind from Radio Shack and will have it within the week, God willing.
