? |

|
^ lol, nah cuz...
im talkin about the skate movement in HIP-HOP. |
oh...well its all the same too me.......
|
^ so you call Lupe Fiasco and Pharrell "emo"?
lol, i think you misunderstood... |
lol were all emo man
|
Emo . |
lol, yall crazy...
but on the real, im really feelin this movement... i think its good for hip-hop, and thats real talk... |
lmaooooo @ "its good for hiphop"
smfh. i dont care whats good for hiphop. what i care about is that people who've doing this shit for a good time now, are getting fucking stripped of their personality. idiots do a shitty kick flip and an ollie and think they're bam margera. point blank. thugs+skateboards=no. thugging with a skateboard does not make you hard. it does not make hiphop better. it does not "help" hiphop seeing as how its just a fad. |
Quote:
^that was tha most ignorant statement of the week it DOES help hip-hop ...it adds another element to it and you dont have to be a thug to listen to hip-hop so that whole "thugs+skateboards=no" analysis = bullshit and as far as that whole quote goes... wtf are you talking about?? i have yet to see someone in the industry "stripped of their personality" so stfu and use some intellect and common sense before you speak next time... |
bboying has already been a part of hiphop.
and if we add anymore damn elements to it, you might as well make it another genre. edit - and i never said anyone in the industry was stripped of their personality. although they are because people see that shit and they follow it. i said people who've skateboarded for a long time in general. |
Word yeah it's a nice movement, I don't think it'll be huge like you wont have cats in NY city that gon be riding on skates nah mean but it's a good movement in hiphop cos it's widening it's audience and it's limitations, it's just one of the examples of how HipHop is taking over the world..1
|
Skating is a whole culture in itself. If anything, hip hop has become welcome in skating, skating has not become welcome in hip hop.
|
yes its good for hip hop...
brings a new style to the table...and i personally like it |
Movement? Civil rights was a movement, this is just a trend.

yeah the movement is kinda cool.
I wear Vans. I don't skateboard though but It does look kinda cool, especially for hip-hop .. something new. Those are pictures of Pharrells Skateboard team, Ice Cream. Alot of people are starting to skateboard now, niggas that I know that skateboard make it look kinda cool. But what really suprised me that a lot of my black friends is starting to skateboard. Like one of the best skaters out right now is in that picture above .. his name is T-K and he can be one of the people responsible for the movement, ya. |

Yeah, like I said. Those shoes are ugly, dude.

ice creams look like shit..should be called ass creams or sumthin =\..just ugly
|
I really don't care what you think.
y'all just ain't got no style |
ice creams arent ugly, you have to know how to rock em. Board flips, the big lookin ones for you lames, dont match with everything. The original ice creams that came out for like $300 are still hot but no one wears them anymore.
|
lol @ yall hatin on ice creams...
tsk tsk tsk ... |
They look like clown shoes.

The colors are ridiculous, man. But I guess that's why it's your thing, though. But me? I have never seen a skateboarder who actually skates, wear a pair of Ice Creams. I don't even consider them skate shoes, dude.
P.S.-Terry Kennedy is not one of the best out right now. |
nah..see we have alot of style..i just think its cause we goin against the fad? i dunno..alot of people wanna wear them but they are ugly..like..fa real..
