I get up because when I wake up I usually need to piss. Then after I piss im like, damn, im hungry. Then the next thing I know im doing some stupid crap, then I get home and im hungry so I eat again then im tired so I go to sleep.

I used to not have a reason and I was wreckless. I would basically not give a fuck, not saying it was a bad thing, i acheived alot, made a good name for myself, gained alot of street cred, but at the same time, had my name in court and in police alot more than wanted.
then I started getting serious with music, learnt alot grew up alot and basically relised music is a good reason to some what calm down and focus my energy into it.
Plus i met a girl that basically keeps me calm when shits getting fucked up, so she was some what of a saviour.
behind every strong man is a strong woman.

So yeh, music and my girl is why i live.

Why else would I live?

I could live for a person, but its not like I would not like to live if that person never existed.

I could live for something material, but none of that is worth living for.

I could live to figure out something, but I dont need to know that thing in the first place.

Or I could just live... Piss when I need to, eat when im hungry, and sleep when im tired. I dont need a reason to live, because I do live.

OMB to me theres a diffrence between living and being alive. A stagnant brain which isnt stimulated by life, isnt living, even though its alive.
Same with a human in general, i think the question is more why are you "living life" in the sense of actually getting out and doing shit.

Everyone lives, not everyones living.

Everyone has something that motivates them to continue going. If you knew that everyday after today was gonna be miserable and in the afterlife u were guarenteed hell you would just sya fuck it. You always need SOMETHING to keep you going. If you dont have a destination you're just walking in circles.

why i live. for my mom. i like to see her happy. But i am a problem child. And all we really have is eachother ya feel me. So thats basically why i live. I dont live for myself. Im a bad fuckin child. my mom deserves to live more then me. so anything i do its to try and help her.

We don't know what's in the afterlife. Yeah time is an illusion but it labels history to me. How else could we remember certain periods of life without it? The thought of truly being gone forever scares me, not really for myself cause I won't even notice it, but for certain people/person. Like damn imagine loving somebody and then knowing they don't even exist no more, and they don't even remember you. And it'll happen to you too... that's fuckin devistating to me. We'll all find out in the end I guess.

You can say all this stuff, but the real reason we live is because we have no clue what we are actually living for. We want to live, find out what it is about living that is so good, experience everything we've heard about, see what its like to do all the shit there is to do in this world.

Thats all... If you knew every single thing about your life and what was going to happen to you from this moment until the day you die, would you want to live? I know I wouldnt. Id just be like, oh, alright. Its like if theres an interesting movie you havent seen, and some idiot goes and tells you what happens in the end. It ruins the movie.

That's not even the case for me really. I could die right now and be slightly disapointed. I have certain goals I wanna accomplish before I go, plus like I said before I'm attached to certain people which was a huge mistake to begin with. Since being attached means utter disapointment when you're away -_-

Naww man we live because either we afraid of dying or we're living for another person. Or just because it'd be better off living then dying

I think its a good thing we don't know what happens after we die. If we knew beforehand we'd definetly prepare for it and be more reluctant to kill ourselves.

thats exactly true indeph. I figured out something in life. im not going to say because there would be a huge controversy over this. But yeah. And after i realised that. Im not scared too die. you'd figure it would make it worse but not really. When i thought about all the shit i was scared but when i figured out. I calmed down and realised.. Crying and complaining over this is completely stupid. Look at everybody else that died. what makes me different then any of them. especially the way i take advantage of my life. and people died for doing good deeds. while im causing problems.

Well everything you do influences people in a negative and positive way. What's a bad or good deed depends on who's judging it. Some of the greatest things in history have been inspired by what most would consider bad. Like if my whole family was full of alcoholics and drug atticts, that would inspire me to not do it myself. Maybe even stop the flow of it in general. Just alot of things, what I try to do is instead of looking at the action itself, think about the cause of it and the effects itself. That leads to a bigger understanding.

I'm not just gonna sit here and give some superficial answer about music and women..

I guess the real reason I live is because I am a part of what makes up the now.. 2006... Right here..

Just like everyone else... If the world didnt have us all here, there would be no unique circumstances to record as having happened in this tiny pocket of time we live in.

Were all important in our own way...

Its got nothing to do with what matters most to us right now...

If there was a nuclear war next year and we all were forced to survive a harsh aftermath of viscious dictatorships and lawless wastelands where we had to take up arms and fight for our own survival.. I dont think music is going to be what you live for, more likly you would begin to live for freedom fighting and political agendas for the side you end up in.

Just like those who say they live for their girlfriend.... What if she dies or leaves you? Would you commit suicide because she was everything you ever lived for?

Probably not.

I guess my point is, that things do change... And its really not a suitible answer to just say you live for things that matter most to you only at this present time.

I'd rather just say I live for the day and wait untill I reach old age before I can answer questions like this from the more logical perspective of "what DID I live for?"

I mean shit, very few of you have even lived beyond 20 years so far...

Why not just cut to the chase and say it... There is no such thing as good or bad.

What you have described is the concept of yin and yang. Pretty much everything falls into that category.

There IS good and bad in some ways, but situations can not be considered good or bad, so in that sense good and bad do not exist.

ok describe a situation that's "not" considered either good or bad?

I'll use a story to illustrate my point.

There is an old farmer living in a small town and his horse ran away. Everyone in town comes to him and says "oh, thats too bad your horse ran away, isnt that terrible." He replies "maybe." Then next day, his horse returns with seven other horses. Everyone in town comes to his house and says "Oh look, isnt that wonderful, now you have 8 horses!" ... "Maybe," says the farmer. The next day his son was trying to tame one of the horses, but he got thrown off and broke his leg. Everyone in town comes to his house and says "Oh no, we're so sorry about your son breaking his leg, poor boy." The farmer says "Maybe." Then next day the conscription officers came to town looking for people to recruit to fight in the war. They reject the farmers son because he has a broken leg. Everyone in town comes to the farmers house and says "Oh, your son didnt have to go to war because of his leg, isnt that lucky!" ... The farmer replies, "maybe."

You see what I mean? You can't gauge any situation as good or bad, it simply doesnt exist in reality. It exists in the social construct within our minds, but thats all.

The reason I live:

In my mind, I believe everyone is here to serve some sort of purpose with their lives. My purpose is to make those depressed and and sad around me happy. Although hanging out with a kid who is always looking at the bright point of view could get annoying...I manage to do it in a tolerable manner.

Friends is not the only reason...My mother emotionally uncontrolable suffering from anxiety due to my drunken dad and shit......She does so much for me and I live my life right now and work hard in school and at baseball so I can one day give back to her what she gave to me. Now I have not told you what fucked up shit I've gone through but she's done a lot and sacraficed a lot which is why I will not stop at anything to achieve my goals to make her happy and finally get what she deserves in lfe.

And this girl, she's amazing, like its so corny the way I put it..but she just really makes me happy feel complete. I just love being around her when my dad fucks up and does stupid shit to the family she's there to pick me up she's there to be with me...I love her...and I would do anything for her

Those are the reasons I wake up plain and simple. Life is a beautifull fucking struggle.
