I'm also purchasing a keyboard to practice melodies and for hitting the right notes when I try my hand at singing hooks.

So, I'm looking at the next few models up. I'm thinking about the
Audio-Technica AT3035.

spul uses one of those ^. with the right mixing skills, it could be a ILL mic. i want to get a different mic myself. im tired of mine. it has no... no personality at all.

okay listen..you know all those cats in teh mainstream that you listen to...whoever they are...i don't know what kind of rappers your into but thats not the point...the point is....would you listen to them if they recorded all their records on thier moms pc mic from wal-mart? no change in lyrics or delivery.....

yes the lyrics and the beat counts...but no matter how dope you are...how ill your lyrics are...if people can't make out clearly what you are spittin...nobody will take it seriusly....quality is an ear grabber....they hear crisp, smooth , clear vocals they will more then likely stick around to listen to the track...unlike MC such and such from down the street with that barbie kareoke mic..
