picturepefect...it might not be your mixing....it might be your equipment....do you use a condenser mic? becuase me and my homies on my floor was freestyling on my laptop and we didn't even mix and our shit sounded better then this...so it just might be your equipment

I record on my desktop computer. I also do all the shti I need to do on the internet with it, and then I keep my laptop seperate for work.

yeah, my equipment sucks... but that shits supposed to be for shitty mics i thought. but ya my shits a ten dollar phillips PH62080... or sum shit

yeah, i use head phone and i put a sock on the mic and with my old songs i used one of those pop filters, but i lost it and didn't think it mattered that much... but i do all that is on in that link

yo to be real with ya man if you have a $10 mic, you can pretty much forget making quality, or sonically accurate, tracks. just flat out impossible and there's only so much blood you're gonna get out of a rock

more high end mics bring out things in your voice that a shitty $100 and down mic can't even show you

just understand that you're recording on what's essentially a toy and learn as much as you can from it. don't expect miracles.
