I don't think that america isn't ready for a black president. I think that this election would be silly for anyone else to run in if Clinton and Mccain run seeing as how they are such prominent political figures already. Anyone running in this race would either do what Q said and divide their party, or just waste their money :thumbup:

As soon as anyone says that racism is still a problem today, and we have a black president, all we'll ever hear is "How can racism be holding you back so much if there is a black president? All you have to do is work hard and you can run the United States of America! omfgz!!11". I get that shit enough with Oprah, I don't want a black president so everyone can pretend that racism no longer exists, mmmmkay?

America - Black President sounds so fictional. I'm black, and I would love to see this happen, but I dont think it's going to work out. We have to completely get past this racial hump, which will never happen. I'm just glad one of us blacks stepped up to try to make it work. I dunno. I'm nuetral on this one, I'd want to see a black person in office, but then I dont...Really race has nothing to do with it.
