The whole landscape of this country is about to change

The dawn of a new era is arriving

Thank GOD

And, yes, I'm referring to the US elections.

Mad Dog 11-07-06 07:33 AM

^ you do realise your current arsehole in the white house will be replaced by a new one.

where's the change?

La Cosa Nostra 11-07-06 07:46 AM

It'll be half interesting to see what america pulls out of its ass for their next president.........

Tha .Q 11-07-06 08:14 AM

See, you don't quite understand the implications of this election Mad Dog.

These are Mid-term elections. The president remains in office until 2008. Governors and Senators are being elected today. If the Democrats get control of Congress, President Bush's agenda is screwed. Then, we can completely reverse course in 2008 with the election of a new president.

Like I said, this is the DAWN of a new era.

oh right i wondered why Bush was goin round campagning coz this is his last term aint it...but in my eyes its the same with whoever gets chosen...one way or another, they end up dishing out empty promises...look at the Labour Government over here...bought in way back in 97...done hardly any major changes from what i can see...and it'll be the same when the Tory's get back into power...ONE BIG CROOKED CIRCLE

L. Veracity 11-07-06 09:54 AM

right winged Bible beating Christians that have no concept of the seperation between church and state support money hungry Republicans

have you taken into account that theres been reports already from voters saying that their democratic votes were switched to republican throughout the country already? their calling it a "glitch"
yeah i glitch that only chAnges dems votes to republican votes and not vice versa
wake up people , we were robbed in the 2000 election, again in 04' and unless the voters speak out in a voice loud enough not to be ignored
there will be more voter fraud
go to youtube.com they have a "film your vote" going on where voters are gonig into the booths with cameras, cellphone cams, etc to record their vote and try to insure that this doesnt happen again
but yet mainstream media neglected to touch on this subject thus far
so i wont be suprised if republicans "squeek this out" by a state or two
but i hope not
lets keep our fingers crossed

Hey Bible thumper, it's God, not god.

Religion is for morons.

∆ P E X X 11-07-06 01:26 PM

what happened? aren't you the republican that was backing bush from day 1? now you want the dems to win house and senate and derail that prick?

btw, there's mud on your face.

TitoBronsky 11-07-06 02:05 PM

ANY REAL CHURCH DOESNT SUPPORT THE POLITICAL AGENDA OF ANY GOVERNING BODY.!!!!

THERES A REASON CHURCH AND STATE ARE SEPERATE....

so who ever said that bull shit bout Church's support Republicans are RETARTED as the consumers i care for on a day to day basis...

Christians.... should be fearing the collapse of the seperation of Church and state... because its coming.... and theres gonna be a Religion for the masses.... like how Muslims rule in the middle east.... America will be the land of Pagon Cathlics...

i mean... if we wanna take it there... we can.... but i digress....

if we want to change the direction of this country..... We must Vote Democrat in these elections.... its the only way to negate Bush......

Real Talk

you are looking at this from the complete wrong angle... we dont "support" gays or abortion, we support freewill and the right for people to have a choice... and hating on any group of people, including gays, is extremely un-Christian like.

and what is this "Church" that you're speaking of? the Catholic Church? i'm Episcopalian, one of the most liberal denominations of the Christian faith that there is, so you really don't know what you're talking about.

The church would never allow gay marriage

not to mention Marriage has always meant, Two people of the opposite sex, theres no reason for a gay person to get married.

But the church doesnt give a person free will, it gives u a set of rules, it doesnt say ok go around and do whatever the hell you want. No the bible is a guideline, so to say church wants to give everybody freedom like that = iq of 12.

T ha Q.. Same for you.

What are you talking about? I don't see the relevance of anything you're saying to this thread.

It's like you're spewing off what you learned at bible study because you're happy to know something.

No offense...but, come again please.

Sir Smash'Alot 11-07-06 06:55 PM

God gave ppl a choice of what they wanna do wit our bodies n stuff, so if God doesn't make us make choices for the church, how could the state? Does the state have more power than God? No...Homosexualty and Abortions might be sins, but every one sins n no sin is greater than another (it says so in the Bible). So maybe your the one who doesn't read the bible.

^Amen....

Plus, I could argue that if ANY sin God viewed worse than the others, it'd be PRIDE.

But, like you said...sin is sin

Tha .Q 11-07-06 07:13 PM
