mad dogg dont get too excited. ive played with and againgst adu...hes not THAT great, dont get me wrong hes good n all, but still has alot of weaknesses.....he did so/so for dc united, if you ask me hes should be in your developing leagues for abuot a year or two, then try to play for man U.....hes not gon help that much off the bat, seeing hows hes a forward n you got rooney, plus dc played him at mid for a couple of years so hes prolly confused now...i unno plus hes not that strong physically.....hes got time but he will be great just dont get too excited yet

But 286, all players have weaknesses and you gotta remember that he's still only 17 and Man Utd have one of the worlds best training facilities. Rooney has become a much more mature and better player since leaving Everton & Christiano Ronaldo is just fucking amazing now, so much better since leaving Sporting Lisbon.

plus Adu is still at that age where he can be converted to a winger, he's got pace strength good ball control...i'm telling you, he's definitely good enough to succeed at Premiership level, he's done real good @ DC United and he made the right choice by sticking with them for as long as he's done because the 1st team experience has helped him grow as a player...

He won't break into our first team instantly...infact i'd give it AT LEAST 2 seasons before he starts becoming some sort of regular if he does come to Utd. But i can see him going on the right flank with Ronaldo switching to the left when Giggs retires...

Well given you won the F.A Cup last season and the Champions League in 04/05...i don't see why you couldn't grab the Carling Cup this year...you already won the Community Shield off Chelsea this year 2-1...so, you never know...this could be the start of Chelseas' downfall season...hopefully lol

I have a funny feeling though that Man Utd might just slip up. At the moment they are on a dominant run, they practically out-play every team. But I honestly don't think they can make it last through the entire season. And unlike Chelsea, they haven't mastered the art of playing crappy and still grinding out the win.
