a lot of people been saying it's way better than iPod. Made by microsoft. some electronics site had ipod at 5.5 and Zune got a 8.8 so word. video, music and radio player. anyone hear shit about it?

Better then the ipod just from looking at the features and stats. I might get one too.

only thing, it's a fuckin' bitch to install. like wtf?shit askin' me to DL all these fuckin' updates and shit for my computer. makin' my CPU low on disk space and shit. wtf? lol

I would consider getting one... But my windows is pirated, and microsoft checks my OS with that update shit.

i think the Zune is MUCH better than the iPod. and i've owned 3 iPods including the video ipod. and the zune shits on the iPod. f'real... the only thing iPod got better than Zune is the lil scroll shit. but THATS ALL

Ease. No need for that fucked up MP4-AAC format. Plus for 15 month you can get unlimited songs, as opposed to .99 a song or 9.99 (I believe those are the prices) analbum with iTunes. Plus with it integrated with all of Microsofts other products you have a near unlimited array of multimedia. What's to say you won't be able to take songs out of a game, or filma replay in Forza 2 and save it to the Zune to show off a fly 'ride'. Or get that replay of Madden where Mike Rucker and Julius Peppers break Tony Romo's spine. Shitlike that.

well if its anywhere near the reliability of an iPod... then it sucks

you do have to convert for the zune you cant just put some random video on it the and if you did the resolution would be all fucked up, and the ipod mp4 format is tight, it doesent get fucked up when its stretched either especially when i atch it on my big screen in s-video, and why would i pay 15 dollars a month when i already download songs to my ipod for free? you can take songs off of a game and put them on an ipod, you can put replays of "forza 2" or whatecer, you can do all that shyt with the ipod accept its alot more easier and more accesible

Besides that it's something new, promoting connectivity between system and people, albeit not perfected yet but with Micrsoft's budget it will be fairly soon, I'd even say by their next "generation".From what I saw it's more customizeable in terms of backgrounds, and the battery is a little better. And thw Wi-Fi will only become bigger and better as it gets more popular. All iPods have been pretty same, all they did was add videos and make em smaller. The 1st gen iPod is just as good as the 5th.

It's about smart marketing. I, for one, plan to get a ZUNE. I want something different from the vaunted Ipod.

I'm not tryna say Ipod sucks, I'm saying Zune is a legit and in most cases a better alternative. It shows progress. Name 1 big thing Apple has done to iPods besides make em smaller and add videos. I know I have a 1st and a Video. All I have different on the video is more songs.There is no extravagant progress between them. The fact is iPod was the best when 1st gen came out and got big, so no company WANTED to compete because it would have been futile. Hell the 'Creative Zen Vision:M' is better than an iPod. You can compare it like this. iPods are the "50 Cent's" of mp3 players. They have the same shit comin out but the same people buy em and tell their friends. The Zunes are like a Talib Kweli, not in terms of one better than the other, but in terms of an underground product that promotes progress in the technology of music players.
