yea just wonderin... been here a while and never saw anyone post this up, so how did ya find this site?? and did ya ever think you'd stay here that long? lol

I just remember i was writting lyrics everyday trying to get good at battlin, than i went on google to find inspriation and typed it up on google and got community.rapbattles.com hahaha.. damn that old.. but this site elevated me so much, but that was before.. no one really learns to elevate on this site anymore, its all bout the lounge lol.. i miss em text days..but yea.. jst wonderin =P

i found it because me and my friends were looking for rap lyrics for battles because we didn't like rap or somthing and we were gonna diss each other with them lol.......and then i started liking rap and I joined up...and didn't do much for like 5 months then i started posting

Meh, I was on a few sites years before this one battling.....Then I stopped cause it got boring n I ran out of people to battle.............And a year or so later I found myself with more time so I did a search for a new rap forum n RB relaunched was the one I found..

I was searching for something rap-related, and came to the decision... RB original, or RB relaunched.

Even though the relaunched picture looked real lame with just some circles or some shit on it, and the RB original picture was some ill guy holding a mic with a cool font, I chose relaunched for some reason. Maybe I thought it was better because it was newer.

just like everyone else so far, I typed in "rap battles" on google and found rapbattles.com....lol.


I battled on both for a while and just grew to like this one better. I've gone back to RB a couple of times over the years, but keep coming back to good ole RB Relaunched :thumbup:

I used to piss around with my friends making up stupid disses on each other, and then one of them told me he knew people who did it on the internet... so I basically searched for rap battles and came across the two sites.... i checked out RB at first and thought it was gay so I came here and stayed...

was just wondering around on eminemlounge.com back in late 2004 and shit
came across "hip hop top links" so i clicked it and it gave me all these links
that had websites that had anything ta do with rap/hip hop and all that
one of the links was this site and i started droppin a shit load of o.m's
just seeing what type of response people would give bout shit that I wrote
never thought i'd be on this site for 2 years..yes i had a diffrent account

well I was on a site called raptapes.com and it weren't like this but it'd have hip hop related news and you could drop comments 'n' stuff but som dude who posted there a bit told me about rb and when raptapes cloed, I signed for rb but it wasn't long before I found my way here

i heard about it through the grapevine.......

nah really i searched google n got the choice of either rb relaunched or original. chose the original, stayed there about a yr or maybe more, got bored, then came here

this site found me when they called out the #1 rap board on the net.

so few people still here from relaunched days :( those were the days man.. when it was all about crews, battles, lyrics..etc.. now the tourny's suck cuz no one participates thats why i gave up with verbal emotions Iv or w/e my last one was.. poetry is not as active or open mic as before.. i remember comin in LL and when you try to reply to someones thread you click post then all in a sudden you see 5 people post before your ass ever does.. lol.. damn those were the days.. the audio has elevated alot since relaunched, but i still miss them text days :(
