Nintendo Wii Owners. enter
[so... next week ima use my bday money to buy a system. which games are worth buyin.? im jus gonna buy one game for now tho . im thinkin about that Red Steel. how is that? any good ones?] word . |
Madden '07.
|
The only games I've played are Zelda and Rayman Raving Rabbids.
Zelda is fucking dope as hell... And Rayman is funny shit. Addictive as hell. Wii Sports is fun too. RECOMMENDED: Get another Wiimote and Nunchuk. |
do not get red steel i heard....i got call of duty 3, its fun....addictive, i heard zelda and monkey ball were both very good.....i have madden 07 its kinda boring unless you play someone else....the controls are hard to get down
|
OK, this is the actual REAL deal:
If you want an FPS... Red Steel - Do not buy this. Very short lifespan, once the Wii novelty wears off, not a great game. Very flawed control system. Call of Duty 3 - Once you get used to the control scheme, its actually pretty good. You'll be flying through the levels popping dudes in the head with pinpoint accuracy. Lack of multiplayer is a big downside though. Farcry - The best FPS control setup so far on the wii. I would recommend this one if you REALLY want an FPS at launch. --- Other than that, get Zelda. Just get it, it's probably the best launch title of any system, ever. Other solid titles: - Super Monkey Ball - Rayman: Raving Rabbids - Trauma Centre Other decent titles: - Excite Truck (suffers lack of depth) - DBZ Tenkaichi 2 (This is an excellent game if you are familiar with the series, if you're not, you might be a little lost and not appreciate it) |
word @ the DBZ game ahah i loved the series. and now im aimin towards Call Of Duty 3 / Farcry or Zelda im not into those zelda games tho mayb ill jus rent a couple n try first? |
Lol...fi tis the first one you've tired...
Good luck. I've played every one, and I find it hard. |
nah i had a zelda game back in the n64 days. and i think i had one in like sega or somethin. not sure. too mystical type. im more into wargames:D |
Good luck actually getting the system.I been trying since launch and I can't get it.Shit keeps selling out. It's because of those damn nerds that camp out overnight.
|
oh yea shit how much is the price range? |
$250. And Red Steel looks like a super garbage game.
|
ATTN: ALL NERDS!
Welcome to this thread! .......jk bitches :) |

...but i gotta run to the washroom to take a wii right now actually, brb sukka. |

Word well its a must buy then that DBZ game. Shit is ill as hell, and the control with the wii mote is ill. For example, to shoot like an energy beam or whatever, instead of pushing a combo of buttons, you hold down the B trigger and the A button, pull the wii mote back, then thrust it forward to shoot... And your pull back time determines how strong the blast is, and it charges up and shit. My room mate has it on PS2, but I played the wii version and it made me bored of that version. |
dayum. sounds dope as hell man.i think ima get that DBZ. but. i heard all the Wii's are sold out in the city. shiit. im tryna get one b4 christmas atleast. |
but how do you different blasts?
gohan has kamehameha masenko superkamehameha ect. |
Quote:
Those are all similar, so I am not sure but maybe it's a different tilt, or different buttons held down. Different kinds of blasts would have different movements though. |
hell i know masenko is done oveer the head, and kamehameha is done behind the waist or whatever, but what about ki blasts powering up, super moves ect.
