I want you to stop and think about this for a minute. If you knew that you only had 6 years left on this planet.. what would you do different, today? how would your life change?

Man if i knew i had 6 years left....I would honestly get as close to God as i could get in those 6 years......I would make sure i was fully dedicated

travel the world, help where i could, and just really make the best out of the world God put me in...

^getting close to god would be the last thing Id do. Id get closer to my remaining family. Push my music ALOT harder. I would use my predictaded death as a tool. I would let people know I will die in 6 years,therefore they will be some what more "open armed" to me. Allowing me to get my message across and spread my point a view and hopefully changing somthing for the better before I leave.
If all else fails and I get neglected and no one takes notice of my message. best belive that will be the most caotic 6 fucking years any person can have, not to mention the last week.

Shit 6 years ain't a long time...

I'd definitely wanna see the face of my pops, even if it's to punch his ass...I'd wanna get mad closer to God, start praying more regularily, and change my whole lifestyle...in a way that my religion wants it to be, i'd keep doing this music shit but way on the side id wanna know all my family...

6 years eh...well thats easy...i'd dedicate myself to my son...i'd wanna see AS MUCH of him as i can because he'd only be 8 if i were to die in six years and i'd want him to have as many good memories of me possible...

but here's a question...why are we saying "what would do if you know you had 6 years to live" shit...realistically, this could be my LAST day on Earth...really people should think about this sorta thing and use it to better themselves...people sayin they'd get closer to God, please...if you're praying and attending church and being devoted...you're already as close as you can be to him in my eyes personally...that sounds like "shit i got six years, i better make sure he lets me in"...keep doin what you do...but try and better yourself FOR yourself and other people NOW...coz you never know WHEN it is your time...

The only time you have is now, this second. You're not even guaranteed the next minute. So, I try to live each day as if it's my last. I adopt the attitude of, "I want to make a difference in someone's life before I leave."

Notice I say "leave" and not "die".

If i knew i had 6 years left. I'd get right with my religion first off. wouldnt tell ne one. But I'd spend more time with my family and significant other. but i wouldnt change much of anything. i dont want to spend my last 6 years panicking and counting down the years or anything like that. just live like its a normal day and not even think about it.

BUT. its kinda sad that everybody mentioned that they'll get right with god those 6 years.. i mean. why not now?. if everyone knew when they were gonna die they'd be waiting until the last minute to do it. which isnt right.

Q it is probably wrong but it does say something about god forgiving people for their sins and i says something about when they die about their sins but i might just be talking about jahovah witnesses things i dont know

Forgiveness comes with conditions, one being that you have to ASK for it first. Another being that you have to forgive others before even coming to God in prayer.

hmm a lot of good responses here man i can tell some people really put thought into this.

but me? honestly? to be real with you, to a large degree i already live a 6-year life. my long term business plans are really just extensions of my existing ones. i do take opportunities to tell those i love and respect that i do love them and how much i appreciate them in my life. even today really i have no major regrets.

I would tell my mom that i love her, because she never hears it enough. I'd get back in touch with my dad, tell him i'm not mad at him. you know, i didn't always agree with his decisions, but i'm old enough to understand now, and i have no hard feelings against him. I'd get in touch with the brother and sister that i never knew. i would be more active in trying to reach certain people with the information i think they'd need to hear. i'd cut back on the tv even more and get into these books i've been meaning to finish.

and as i lay there in bed on the last 2 nights, thinking about all the memories, i'd lay back and say to my self "you know what...you always kept it real with people, you never scammed anyone or gave em a raw deal, you weer always straight foward and always true to your self and those around you. and you know what? i have no regrets"

u act liek your guarentted 6 years y do u not arrange your business plans to 5 years or 7 years wats so special about 6?

I'd have six years to figure out what I'd do.

i didn't say anything about my business plans taking 6 years, that's your assumption speaking. my stage 1 business plans will all complete their first phase all in under 1 year. some only have one phase, some have three, but regardless when those are done, i will shed them (sell them or give them to family) and use those gained resources to step up into the next plan. just like i have to get to this point. each business just a steping stone.

my next 25 years are already set. i've put my self in the position where i have more opportunities than i have the finite resources of time and attention to act on them all. its all just a matter of which ones i really feel like going into and which i don't.

Kord, well i dunno if this planet has 6 years left or not, but i started to consider what if it did, what would the harm be in living that lifestyle right now? why wait to be happy, you know?

then i noticed to a very large extent i was already living it.

I love all these people wantin to get close to God, then he comes in and ruins it all. Haha job well done.

Honestly, I am pretty satisfied with what I am doing right now. I would probably invest a lot of money in the stock market, bonds, establish a business, write a book, get a life insurance policy (just won't mention the fact I am dying in 6 yrs), and mainly get married.

That way when I am gone, my family will always have some money whether its stocks, bonds, saved up money, a business, royalties, or the policy. I will continue to provide for my family whether I am there physically or not.

Why spend your last 6 years on earth gettin' close to God? If you're a true believer in God, then you'll get into heaven as long as you don't committ sin. You'll have all the time in the world to meet him when you're gone..

If I had 6 years left and I knew it..

I'd move to Africa and spend all my time and money towards making music and helping them discover what music is along with trying to push that project into making more money for them to have better homes, hospitals, and everything essential that they needed. Cleaner water, food, clothes..etc..

I'd do that for the first 5 years and in the last I would spend the rest of the time with my family and friends until I died.
