ANSWER: Well, as long as he basically just keeps it as you ran things it should go smoothly and stay active. Now he is in charge though, he may impliment his "Real Verse" rule that he suggested. He best keep the fucking magazines coming though.

Topic of Note - Kempo has done a great job with this league and there's no need to worry, its being left in good hands. I will only continue to grow on what he left me. The real verse policy will likely be implemented, as well as a few other ideas that I have, but the league will for the most part stay the same and continue to run as it has. Nick, I'm going to continue to write detailed mags when I take over next week. However, I'm hoping someone else will take that job over from me, but until I find someone reliable to do it, I'll take care of it. BTW, Kempo, now that you aren't in the league anymore, you should compete in it :)

BTW what is this "real verse" nick speaks about DTH?

Its just a rule that you have to post a "real verse" regardless of whether your opponent shows or not. You can edit it out if they don't show, its just because a lot of people post no-shows verses, then the person shows and its like they have to go back and put a real verse in.. so I think a real verse should be there in the first place. Not really a big deal, just a minor change...

Its just really that Thursdays are rough for me to drop because its Thirsty Thursdays on campus and I'm a raging alcoholic...

Wordd Ace, I expect there to be a bit of downtown for the next few weeks, but I'll be at home for the holidays bored with no car :(

Oh yeaaa, any ideas for the league, lemme know. i'll start sharing some of my ideas in the upcoming days

1.) End of the year awards presented by you and Kemp... he can't skip out on us now!!!
2.) End of the year awards as voted on by your peers.. a la - battlers vote for other battlers awards.
3.) A super duper cool mag that makes all other mags not look good because is so spectacular with shit like 'classic battles' 'battle of the year' 'whackest drops' 'biggest bitch/bitch moves' ' top 25 punches or some shit
4.) a super cool fuckin event to close out the year with because yea... I love the events... i participated in events even when I wasn't in the leauge every week because battles with gimmicks are cool

All those ideas are good and reasonable. Maybe Christmas week will have a special theme where every punch has to relate to Christmas or something. I'll be listening to ideas for that.

Yeah, I'm still going to battle here n' support this site. If I find I can't handle battling in my own league I'll sign out, but there's never been a dispute from anyone about me battling in the 1-2-1, so I don't see why it would be an issue here either.

I've always been a 1 league kinda guy, Nick. I'm not a verse pumping machine like u are haha. If at some point I realize its a bad idea to battle in my own league, I prolly will join that or BW, dunno which one.

Word, I like to keep in at least 2 leagues though...

.. it gives me more competition, gets me more feedback and allows me to elevate a lot better and shit.

i signed out for a week because my lease ran out on my apartment so i moved closer to campus, and my apartment now is so close that i can pick up a wireless signal from campus on my laptop, and i was bored last week thats why i posted that long verse in the cypher.....lol, i didnt have a match last week but i thought i told him to sign me back in....oh well......next week i guess
