Why the hell would you file for taxes?

If you don't make enough money, and still living then be glad you don't have to mess with taxes.

Lmao...dude...I literally paid my family's taxes. They'll pay me back, of course (I always have around $2000 collectively loaned out to family members). $900. Had to dip into the cash fund because our heater got fucked up and those things are expensive as hell.

Terumoto 01-12-07 02:41 AM

Hey did you know that in Australia there is no such thing as taxes? It's optional for people to give money to the government.

M&rk 01-12-07 02:46 AM

i wanna go.....

Terumoto 01-12-07 02:48 AM

Yeah man, it's fucking cool here. And if you are over 6 feet tall the government gives you a height grant.

Wordz AhGod 01-12-07 02:53 AM

Military does it for free but it takes like 20 fucking years to get to me which is fine for now coz that means I got money in the bank that I wont be fucking with

My accountant is doing my taxes in the middle of next month sometime. Last year when I had them do it, I was thinking what a ripoff. But this year I tried daytrading for a few months and racked up a few thousand trades that needs to be accounted for... which means listing the buy/sell/gain/loss for each trade. Since they use a computer program and type in the numbers manually, they are going to have a cow. I hope they don't try charging me even more.. lol

Tha .Q 01-12-07 07:49 PM

Man...Imma be called the receipt man next year...You can write off EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!

Yeah, it was online. Was using Interactive Brokers. Fees were $.005 or half a cent per share with $1 minimum. I was initially up, but ended up losing a good chunk and hit the limit I was willing to lose so I stopped. Come to think of it now, it was a pretty stupid idea since I had to get up at like 9am everyday since some of the biggest moves were in the first hour. After a couple months, it started to seem like having a job. I rather go to sleep when I feel like it and not have to set an alarm to wake up that early. I'm thinking of trading again with some of the money I put into my 401k, but do it more as longer term investing
