my mom has the whole first part of the season in her video ipod, i watched it, and the way he gets their powers is that he eats this certain part of their brain. The Dr. that got killed by sylar is the one that told him bout that. I remember the first time he got his power was when he went to this guy and cut it open with a knife or something. Forgot what he used, but he cut open the head and ate this part of it, and thats why all his victims have their upper skulls sawed off.

well, we see that he finds the part that gives them their ability in their brain and extracts it. they never showed, said, or implied that he eats it.

and lets say even if he did eat it....how does that get it into his own brain?????

lol thats just what you would assume. Because the first ability he got was that ability to move things with your mind from this white guy. He hit him from behind on the back of his skull, than im pretty sure he opened it as you see all his victims have to skull opened. Only thing you would think of was he ate a part of it. THere was no way he could have done anything else when he stole his first ability. As you can tell he was so desprate to be like these heroes that he would do anyting to get it. So I pretty much assume he ate a part of the brain. Though it does not at all sound typical that just because you eat a part of someones brain doesnt mean you gain their power. But its a fictional show, so anything can happen. but also he may have just extracted some blood from that part of the brain and injected it into his body with a needle. I may be wrong but w/e, thats just what i think bro, you can think w/e you want lol. Iono why im debating against you on this topic, for some reason cuz of every argument we ever had I've lost. :(

sylar's first ability was to be able to "see how things work and fix them" and shit, so even though it sounds weird to you he can probably see into peoples brains or somethin or their bodies and extract certain things from them and "fixing" things etc., idk thats how i see it atleast, but yea, i hope Hiro gets his sword tonight and owns the shit outa people or somethin

nah, i know they wont show action with it. I think this is what is gonna happen. Hiro is gonna finally get the sword, and this will happen at the end of the show. and than to make more ppl wanna watch it. OMG THat episode was so NOT sick :(.. wasnt amazing at all. But I think that is why at the begining they said "Save the girl, save the world" because if they didnt save the girl, either syler would have taken her power, or she wouldnt have been able to use the tranqenlizer to stop the guy from being a huge nuclear bomb. but yea, this episode was ok, i think the best episode will be the bset.

sylars OWN ability is to see how things work AND how to fix them, he didnt eat his brain, he found out with his power which part of the brain the power is in, then once again using his power he found out how to FIX it if it was removed, he didnt EAT it, yuck

nobody knows son. its a plot hole. just like how sylar faked his own death. plot hole. sylar himself is just a plot device. he's just there to make things happen or not happen, he really has no... "story". he's there to show what mohinder does more deailed, he's there to show how much claires dad cares for her, he's there to show how much so and so does this and so on. plot devices usually have big plot holes, there just there to patch things together.

and werd to dabatos this episode was just ...ok, i guess, mainly cuz it didnt really have any other people in it but they had to kind of do this episode sooner or later, my favorite ones i think so far are episode 2 and 5 but next one looks promising like you said it might be the best one and shits
