Lmao, exactly. The 300 Spartans man up and take on 10,000 Persians or so, and fight to the last man. The Persians beat them, but the Spartans held them off long enough for another country to come in for the save and stop the spread of Islam. CHURCH.

Except instead of half or so of the Spartan army staying behind at the Athenian wall, it's 300 Spartans against, not 10,000 Persians, but...one million.

10,000 persians beat 300 Spartans?

i was watching UK TV History the other night and there was a battle between the Romans and the Brittons...Romans had 10,000 troops...Brittons had near 200,000...Romans won...they estimate 400 Roman troops died compared to the 80,000+ Brittons...

now that woulda made a good film...but 300 i DEFINITELY wanna watch

Don't fucking download the torrent. You can't understand how awesome that movie is until you see it in theaters, not some shitty bootleg on your computer. Better yet, go to an IMAX theater if any are showing it.

I saw it, that shit was dope...

Really stupid scene they should've cut out though, was when the people were falling down the pit. Not necessarily the actual pushing of them into it, but when they look like they're laying on the ground and flailing their arms.

But the battle scenes...my god...

^^Yea...I like how the speed of different objects in the scenes varied...Like some moved at one pace while others at a different one
