DL Incognito is one of my favorite rappers, and a damn good producer. Classified's another dude who's dope at both. David Banner does his thing...

My beef is - if you're going to claim to do both... DO BOTH. Don't fake it and just say you do. ie; Dre having ghostwriters on most of his tracks... Eminem not even being a real producer, jus telling technicians where to place certain instruments.... Kanye having like 18 ghost producers AND ghostwriters...

I dunno... who cares. Jus do what you do, and enjoy the music. word.

I'm a producer, and as of right now I agree 100%.

Lately the producers that been releasing rap tracks are just flat out awful.

Swizz Beats track is garbage (beat is pretty decent for something he made while he was drunk).
The entire Timbo CD was a huge let down.
Scott Storch made a track, that was a disaster...
Dre of Cool & Dre aint so hot rap wise either, his solo CD has been delayed like a bagillion times.

Em & Dre were rappers before they were producers, thats probably why they can do both.

So yeah, I dont have problems with a producer wanting to rap, for christ sake just be good at it though.
