Is 2v a Cheater?
 

As many of you know, 2v is the "moderator" of the 1-2 punch line league here. Quoted straight from his rule book:

Feeding can be defined as using a punch written by your opponent to create a punch for your own verse. Its typically not allowed because it gives an advantage to the 2nd person to post.

Last week in a battle 2v was in (and moderating), his opponent posted the following punch



After reading Antonio's punch, 2v posted the following punch:



So basically, Antonio used a pacifist concept, and then 2v dissed him on that concept in the same battle. Seems like feeding to me because without Antonio using that punch, 2v's punch makes no sense. However, when I called him out on it and told him he should DQ himself for feeding, he whined and gave himself the win. What do you guys think?

If JTR's line is recycling (even tho it WASN'T) then this BETTEr be called for feeding (When it is).

but from an objective point of view every concept has been used a whole loada times so 2v used two loosely connected punches as an excuse to use his own punch.

if the rules state no feeding then indeed 2v did cheat by defnition

he DQ'd JTR for recycling his bars, not feeding.....

there hasn't ever been a problem with feeding, so how can you say he doens't take care of it...

also if you think i'm trying to rub 2v's nuts...i'm signed out of his league aswell, this is my lsat week in it, so this has nothign to do with me thinkin 2v is a good mod...bcuase i think that there are things he could do better and things that could be alot worse...

This thread won't change anything in terms of results of the battle. Because he's the mod, which is precisely the problem.

The point here is really to just to expose him for what he is, a cheater. If your gonna compete in a league that you run, you gotta be honest about it. Don't rig the league and give yourself wins. And yes, he got more votes than his opponent, but he broke the rules to do it. Breaking the rules, according to the rules, is a DQ. So 2v should have DQ'd himself for feeding.

Like I said, I dropped to expose, which made it a joke, I never directly quoted his line and yes without it my punch would not make sense. But, even without his punch my punch would still be a punch. It held relativity to JTR which even made it a punch, so without JTR, I wouldn't of had a punch.

And when that's the case, it all comes down to one thing.

The problem aphillyate is the 1-2 league actually has some people interested in it. But its losing interest because of its poor modding and the cheating going on in it. So something should be done to clean up the problem to ensure the league can move forward smoothly and doesn't die.

Where did Spul cheat? I haven't seen any of that so please enlighten me. And about JTR, I've seen the accusations and its bogus cuz what anyone who's been battling for awhile will tell u is that if you reuse a line that was used against a no-show, thats not recycling. So he didn't cheat either, just 2v.

i agree with you, but the league really aint dieing...its just loosing some members....and it gains members...for the most part it really has only gone up in memebers since i've been in it, and i've been in it from the start...

Personally I don't reuse lines which I've written before for someone else, I think its kinda lame, but its not considered recycling or cheating.

LOL son, Datrus is a much better mod then you. When he ran the LBL, he had good mags, kept it active on a dying site for a long time, and he was able to draw the best battlers from the net onto this dying site (John Hensley, Mets, Roger Glocks, Shakezula, Butler, etc). Where as you can't even get the best battlers from THIS site to join. And when you get one, you screw them out of it so you can pave the way for you to win. Now really, who's the bad mod?

I mean the very LEAST 2v should be doing at this point, having seen everyone agrees he fed is to at least give himself the loss in that battle. But nah, he likes running the league so he can give himself free wins so it looks like he's going to be keeping that win.
