A lot of times, when people say that marijuana ruins people's lives and shit...these people already do this without marijuana. Plenty of people are fucking retards and push away their friends. A lot of the people who smoke marijuana and are failures were failures before they started smoking marijuana anyway. How well did you know them? The people I know were either always smart but still laid back, and pot only loosened up their laziness a bit more even though they are still smart behind all that laziness, or they were just pretty stupid in the first place and then began smoking pot. Prime example of the latter was the kid who was high and decided to leap over the trash fire in my backyard with gasoline on his legs. Long story short, he ended up in the hospital for about six months and my family got the shit sued out of them. He ran around in circles on fire for like twenty seconds, even though our house use to be right next to a fucking lake.

Creating more jail space for violent ones, less money being wasted on jailing stoners, more money for other important things.

Also, the government views Marijuana as having no medicinal value, which is complete bullshit as studies have shown. Its a valid treatment for a variety things.

On top of that, the goverment will finally leave old people alone. The state of California has medical Marijuana, but the D.E.A, under federal law, refuses to comply with state law, so they bust down the doors of "dispensaries" waiving AR 15's in the faces of people in wheelchairs and on crutches, they act like its a damn cartel. :shocked:

Also, if Marijuana is legalized that creates the possibilty of a viable and usable fuel from hemp.
