The diffrence between the site back in its hay day, we used to talk shit in anticipation of a battle. Like, if i wanted to battle someone I wouldnt just make a callout thread, set it up, drop my verse, then wait for votes.

I would talk shit to the person, 'net beef' for a minute, which would lead to the good ole, 'fuck you cunt, your wack, battle me' cooments. We would set it up and "bang", theres a more interesting battle.
The beef wasnt even real , its was shit talk just for 'exctiment' sakes I guess.

i've had battles that i had already won, reversed on me over bullshit reasoning. boo-hoo. i've lost battles that i should've won. boo-hoo x2. i've lost battles that i should've lost, whatever. i used to get mad, GGRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!! whatever though. if you are an honest writer, then actual voters dont really matter. they are just a "general concensus of your current work" if you will. there hasn't been a battle that i've been involved in yet, regardless of the rapverse votes, dickriders or not, that i cant honestly say to myself if i deserve my ''l'' or my ''w'' before all the votes are in. be real with yourself. votes dont always mean everything. if you can truly walk away knowing that you bested your opponant, kudos to you. if you walk away knowing that you got rocked, man up. work on your material and come back stronger, word.
