Does spelling Matter?
 

Some would say Spelling reflects a person intellectually

Me? I prefer good spelling and a good point. A few words misspelled on purpose = no biggie. A random word misspelled on accident = aight.

Remember, punctuation and spelling are different. Punctuation is a must for me, because for the MOST part, it just shows the person writing is a fuck up and never learned how to correctly punctuate a word, sentence, or paragraph.

Typing also reflects the way a person talks, which is why I don't cry about people who finish a sentence and start a new one with And. If there need be a period of time the reader should wait before beginning a new sentence, maybe, just maybe, in my own theoretical view, it should be acceptable.

This isn't school, you don't gotta be perfect, but I like to see some attempt when a fucker is writing.

i know enough about the english language to do anything i fucking want with it and if i make small errors while typing.... big whoop...

having said that i do think people who use abreviations too much come across as idiots, i dont even do that shit in text messeges.......

Why make communicating more difficult by misspelling words?

Yes, I must agree that the incorrect spelling of the English language can become somewhat bothersome at times, especially when it is being done on purpose. I don't quite understand what the reasoning for this is. Personally, if you ask me, I blame all this "Hip-Hop-Bippity-Bop" music the children listen to nowadays. Word.

Seriously...word to the homie tito....I dont bother with it...Unless im writing paper of importance...i dont see what the big deal is.

I don't measure intelligence on ability to spell. If I see somebody constantly misspelling a word like weird, which is commonly misspelled, then I'll correct them. Cause what is a little bit of knowledge? But accidentally misspelling a word, I don't really care.

its like... if ur on a forum typing fast or chat or texting or w/e and using abreviations that's cool.. if you make mistakes it's w/e, but if you purposely spell words wrong then you're a dumb muh fucka and should get your face kicked in with a steal toe boot
