rose cant shot a 3 consistantly at all to save his life. he basically got drafted on athleticism. DJ can actually hoop and now hes stuck behind Felton. Beasley is gonna make the bulls front office shit themselves after he takes home rookie of the year. he was considered outstanding when everyone thought he was 6'10" gettin all those double doubles. turns out hes only like 6'7" or 6'8" hes gonna wreck SF's in the NBA. but the dumbest move was Seattle enough said

and anyways, for once a Chicago team took the player in the draft that the People wanted.... when we took people like cedrick benson and danielle manning, and kirk hinrich in other drafts with our first pick there was So much criticism and WTFs? surrounding the picks that alot of the players i felt came in with a negative vibe... but almost Everyone was happy to see the hometown boy play in chicago, so he doesnt have to worry about Winning the fans, he just has to not lose their love, its easier to play knowing that everyone wanted u there and want u to succeed

there hadnt been a day since we drafted cedric benson that i didnt want the "other" Adrian Peterson to start, or Garret Wolfe last season, even though i knew they werent as good..

yea i feel you but i could still se him rounding into a rodman type of situation if he stays at PF, which i doubt he will. but if he continues to better his shot like he did between his senior year of HS and his freshman year of college (he wasnt bad to start just got even better), then he's gonna be an instant problem for defenses. i agree that this was better for the city but no matter what i dont see beasley as a gamble. i think he was the most NBA ready person. besides oden hes the first that i think wouldve been ready out of high school since lebron. but as far as the selection i still think that if they were gonna get a PG get a pure consistant shooter not just a scorer becaus yall need help with gordans streaky shooting and your SF isnt really a shooter. they wouldnt be able to justify taking agustine first so i think they shouldve taken beasley. rose is still gonna be great tho and beasley will benefit more playing next to Marion and Wade anyway, takes pressure of him on rebounding and scoring

you obviously didnt watch a whole lot of rose this past season....he can be an overpowering point guard. he dominates the basketball. He is more of a sure thing than Beasley. He will make everyone on the Bulls better within his first year. A little development is necessary, yea, but Rose has the tools to be a top player in the league. I dont see how anybody can be discouraged with this pick if they are a Bulls fan. Im a Knicks fan...id kill for Rose.

im not discouraged either way it was gonna be a good pick. they both have great futures ahead of them and i could see why beasley would be passed on (Deng and Thomas) i just think hes gonna have a better career. i actually think he might have a better future than durant

Love is better than Westbrook.. if you watched a UCLA game you would know that. Love has great fundamentals, whereas Westbrook is super athletic. His offense needs work but he's a great perimeter defender. K. Love is a man with growth ahead of him.

alright first, love will be nothin like reeves. he had no jumper whatsoever, was a slightly above average inside defender and got lost in rebounding numbers.

love can shoot a good mid range shot, is a monster down low on his strength alone when it comes to blocking and rebounding. He will also be a coaches best friend in pressure situations with his accurate outlet passing.


Rose played a bunch of good teams with a great team around him. CDR has lottery pick talent and i dont see why he went so low. Dorsey also killed teams last year with his rebounding. even though i didnt agree with the pick, its not really anything to be discouraged about. i See Beasley growing into a more talented Shawn Marion and See rose as being able to possibly grow into a Baron Davis when you talk about athleticism at the point. Either way they are both going to be all stars. Just dont be suprised if there are a couple people out of this draft whose careers are even better than both of theres because there were a lot of question marks in this draft.

on a side note Mayo is not an overrated talent but he is an overrated player. by his ability he should be the next great 2 gaurd in the league but as a basketball player he is shitty. i hope the coaches in minnesota are great because if they are than they might have a HOF on their roster, if not they're going to have the basketball equivilent of ryan leaf. He just makes terrible choices on the floor and can easily be game planned against. never really been a fan of his and lost a lot of respect after how he handled the last possesion of the Mcdonalds all american game

ranking means everything in college basketball...especially during the regular season. It basically determines the difficulty of your teams path to the final 4. If your in the top 10, then you are likely to get a 2 or 3 seed in the tournament..making your chances of a national title run easier. If say you are ranked around 25th-30th...you hold a chance of being a 7 or 8 seed...which makes your path to the final 4 a shit ton harder. If you go in as an 8 seed and win your first game..you have to play a 1 seed in the 2nd round.....ranking means everything.
