noooooooo, don't do that... trust me, live is for children, for real. its entertaining if you like giving the ball to one guy, running around with him for 23 seconds then dunking it. if you want a simulation basketball game, 2k9 is STILL king, and Live is still for kids.

I'm more of a fan of the 2k series.. although Live 09 is looking like its worth a buy. I might just have to play them both and decide.

^ thats the thing, Live has definitely made some steps this year, i'm not denying that... but it still isn't going to provide nearly the level of realistic simulation that 2k9 does. thats the market they were trying to steal with Live 365, but 2k9 has "living rosters" anyways, and Live was unsuccessful in taking that market once again.

word Nick, DL that demo. I copped 2k8 last yr thinking it would be good. Shit felt slow as fuck. And rofl @ shaq being able to "lockdown" on D with Allen Iverson and AI can't get buy him. lmao @ that.. hated it.

then copped Live. And it still had it's flaws. But it's graphics shit on 2k8, and it played a lot faster and smoother for me. Shit, still in end tho both disappointed me. And buy end of november, I was like "fuck b-ball games". And COD'd it. :shoot:

and, did you know EA is charging $20 to use the 365 feature? you get 1 free pin if you buy the game new, but once you've used that if you want to play on a new 360 or buy the game used or w/e you have to pay $20.

lockdown-d on 2k8 could definitely use some work, i agree... but they seem to have fixed that for the most part on 2k9. and the reason it felt "slow" compared to live is because 2k isn't designed to be a dunk contest like Live is. watch an NBA game, lol. Live's gameplay still isn't based on setting up strategic offense/defense... and, Live doesn't have nearly the amount or accuracy of authentic player shooting styles that 2k9 does. AND, 2k9's graphics SHIT on Live 09's. look at the way the players look in the actual game if you don't believe me... the player animations are way better in 2k9 as well.

go ahead and get Live and play online with a bunch of 12 year-olds if you don't believe me though. lol

I seriously did enjoy the gameplay on 2K8. It was fucking beast.

Not to mention it had the dunking contests which was just funny as hell with a bunch of friends drunk and watching your baller try to leap a car only to fail miserably and flip end over before faceplanting on the other side.

I'm serious man, she said that it's pretty tight, and she's from texas, So just imagine how it is going to Oklahoma, when your from texas, and you lived by the Texas stadium, and now you're going to your hometown rivals school, lol. But she said it's dope there. Parties she said are alright, but other than that it's cool I guess.

i haven't found one clip of Live 09 on youtube or played one quarter of it on the demo that runs like a real NBA game.
