...the site layout blew cock at first,n the name itself rv was wack as fuck...but i never liked rb original so it was kinda good being disassociated from them.

The split happened one or two days after I joined.

i joined in 04 sometime, and it was after the split, i never knew any of the RB cats, and they even had good records on here before i even joined... unless opeys 18-0 was carried over from before the split.... w00t @ net rap nerds, we rule.

i joined sometime around the split, afterwards though... but i remember speaking about with some of the guys.
i really don't remember why i chose RV over RB, but i'm glad i did because back in the day this site was wild.

i didnt bother reading most of this thread apoligies if im regurtating the pointless nature of reminising on the past of a fucking internet forum...

I think what really made it for rapverse or 'rapbattles relaunched' back then was the split page with the double options connected directly with rapbattles which was already well established and rapverse advertised as a laid back alternative.

i fucking went err fuck the bull im going for the alternative.. really if you want those days to come back it needs a direct link between active battling sites and rapverse needs to just start pumping with its audio.. personally i think the best direction of the site is based within its audio sections.. but shit man whatever happens happens rapverse is rapverse, a bunch of egotistical cunts from various backgrounds which has a community to shit talk on and occaisionally discuss things and drop songs on...

its not inactive, just the whole text thing pretty much flopped on its ass when the world realised its faggotry and the evolution of nerd rap was formed...

text battling is so poo, not here cause we hardly fucking bother with it, but at other sites ive sampled the shit and had a good read through what i was informed was top notch shit and just thought nup... this isnt fucking real, your battling someone that isnt fucking right there infront of you looking you in your fucking face and the real feel of just burning the living cunt out of them infront of people so they know your the superior performer when push comes to shove...

i never considered goin on rb original cuz of all the nutlicking going on over there.
but,it became impossible to get honest votes on here too after awhile cuz of ppl formin lil e-crews,n hoppin on each others nuts,n catchin feelings if their pics got clowned...then they'd wanna vote against u out of butthurt..
then there was noone worthy of battling left after awhile anyway

n finally some new way of battling was put in effect here that blew cock.i had an idea of designated voters where the 2 ppl battling both agreed on 5 ppl they both thought weren't bias n would be fair voters BEFORE they even dropped the verses,would post their names in the rules for the battle,n only those ppl would be able to vote.for one,it would avoid the bs of ppl claiming the vote was unfair, and it would make those ppl vote as many battles got slept on.....but,strobe went with some gay ass new setup for text battling which completely killed the text battle section.....

so now its just a chatroom lol

Relaunched used to be far superior, mainly because of the community. I remember RB had a shitload of dickheads and RV had cool people. I joined when I was mad young. I remember seeing Nos's battle verses and I didn't understand a word he said. Me and compose had a theory that Nos won his battles because no one understood wtf he said and didn't wanna look stupid for saying they didn't understand him. Good times.
