Holy Shit! Week 1 Mag!
Volume 1 Intro Welcome everyone, to an exciting 1st edition of the weekly mag. Now...this week we didn't have many battlers that showed. But i'm going to say thats my fault. It kind of looked like this wasn't ever going to get started back up, and then all of a sudden i threw everything up. Not giving much oppurtunity to let everyone know in time. That they had battles this week. Also, for the ones who did no show. Normally you'd be booted for such reason, but like i said i'm throwing the blame on myself. So you got 1 more chance, with week 2 battles. Don't disappoint me cuz if you no show. You will be booted. Other than that, we had a few matchups that ended up happening. Votes, went well. I did see quite a few people pop in and drop their votes. Good Good! Everyone keep up your activity, stay involved. As the league continues, and more and more participants are showing there will be new additions to the league. For example this week we're going to go ahead and throw in a cypher. Things like this will be going on throughout the league. Thanks again, for those that showed. Lets get this season on the road!!! Week 1 Reviews. Oh, the upsets... K.Stubbs .vs Chryme sindicate K.Stubbs catches the no show win here Kirk .vs Adam Adam walks with the no show win NME .vs JTR JTR slides in @ the last moment and catches an easy win Sobe .vs Luciano Luciano no shows, and Sobe jumps on the win Malicious .vs Coke Dealer Big upset here with Malicious no showing. Coke Takes it here 2v .vs Randum Probably the most potential match up this week. Both heads here with extreme talent, and both fail to show Aeral .vs Akil Don't know either of these heads, neither show Roy Bruce .vs Its CJ Could have been a good matchup, both no show Ren .vs Big Picture Big what happened? looked forward to seein you drop this week. Both fail to drop here one way .vs Mardu Entite Mardu came a bit simple. The concepts were there, but failed in the proper wording. 1 bar wasn't really a punch, more of a personal attempt and your 2nd was badly stretched. one way, i've seen you drop much better. You came rather played this week, your lines were more generic then you normally do. You have witty concepts, use them! one way runs away with the votes here, and catches his 1st win of the season. Tenebrific .vs Young Kidd Both battlers came weak in this one. Ten i've seen alot of your topical work, and in that area you definately have talent. But your text work could use quite a bit of oil. Absolutely dropped a bit rusty in this battle, put more of an idea into your punches, & work on your wording. Young you showed alot of potential with your concepts, but your bars are waay to stretched. Shorten up your lines a bit, and work on your wording as well Tie here on the votes! I'll just tell him that there's new rules to starting a crew on RV and that it has to have a sig to be created so I don't have to go through all the trouble with strobe.
