I was a christian based on strictly the epistles of paul and the apocalyptic scriptures of St. John

Now you get why I don't speak upon issues of my faith on this board or really anywhere. It's damn near pointless. I can neither prove or disprove it with just words.

god is an amazing phenomina... i experienced the way things change through praying.

but im not gonna sit here and equate my experiences and set guidelines for my god phenomina based on a biased book of fabels and parables that has been currupted by the hands of men.

thats pointless and fickle for me to think that book has any bearing whatsoever on my experiences with god. just like the quran, hindu holy texts, or anything of that nature.

humans throughout history have thought up a lot of crap when it comes to god or gods, i dont think the god or natural phenomina of fate and controllor of universal destiny really is concearned with our ideas, more so our path and plans of where we are going.

religions change with the times and are largly moulded by politics and crackpots..

only one thing is stable. and that is the belief in a higher power/powers that somehow has/have a bearing on our fate. its not that i feel the need to mock your religion if you choose to ride the wave of the human churches vanity in which they decide they have rights to inform the public of what god wants when in reality they have no clue themselves.. its not that i feel the need to mock you for living in a state of fear through the teachings of a weak minded denomination where your restricted with claims of eternal damnation for going against what the church says is right. the church being the bible ofcourse seeing as yeshua is no longer alive and his preachings have moved on to the mouths of lesser men and have been currupted in times of political agendas and power struggles in rome..

really all i have to say is fuck the bible... it means nothing to me because it doesent play bearing on my life nor have I experienced true enlightenment through it like i have from praying to god.

i dont believe yeshua was a deity either so christianity is something i take with a grain of salt.

I believe what is said in the bible is true, and I see the bible as being used on how to mold your life, like in proverbs. I believe just reading proverbs and basing how you live your life on that can make you a better person.
