So anyways
Who's watching the combine?
No one's really hitting a fast 40 time, it's depressing. |
roid watch.... hakeem nicks is the future tho
|
Yeah, it's all good though, the 40 is overrated in football. Although it is cool to see someone hit a crazy time in it.
|
I really hope the Seahawks don't dick out on getting Crabtree, if we don't i'll be very upset.
Well i'll be upset if he's available and we don't get him, if he gets drafted before hand I won't care, but if he doesn't I'll be very pissed. |

Even with his foot injury? I was pulling for Crabtree too, and even before the injury I thought the chances of the Seahawks picking him were slim. Now that the injury came out though, I think it's pretty much confirmed that he won't be playing in Seattle. They'll probably pick that offensive lineman from Wake Forest, whatever his name is. |
^^I think they could, it's not a serious injury, he'll be ready to play and good to go by draft time whether or not he worked out at the combine or not, I been watching the combine alllll day.
Also, he played alllll through last season with that injury and played fine, he is a tough guy and if the Seahawks pass up on a playmaker It will be disappointing. They always pass up on the big play makers for some unknown player. We have no one on offense that can make a big play and with that play making ability it would cause the defense to rest more which means Seahawks would win more games. |
Quote:
Agree with a lot of what you said, they do tend to pass up on the big name guy to take the lesser known figure later in the draft. John Carlson worked out though, right? Besides, wide receiver is such a talent heavy position in the draft that, I think they'll use they're top pick to address a position there's less quantity of, then try and fill the WR holes through later spots or even free agency. There's some decent WR's in the market this off season. Oh and t-minus 3 posts until some Seahawks hate comes in here... Guarantee it. |
iunno tho the type of athlete Crabtree is and has the potential to become is hard to pass up. He looked better than Fitzgerald in college. and I think he can be better than Fitz in the NFL. And look what Fitz is doing for Cards. Crabtree is as good or better than Fitz IMO
|
^^check in our battle...............................
|
^ladies first .
|
That's why I want them to draft Crabtree, and by all means a little ankle injury aint shit.
I mean we have NO play makers on offense, and we have no Salary Cap to go out and get anyone because we wasted our money on that shitty ass rb julius jones, who came hard in 3 games and then fell off. |
i hope y'all don't tho. And that he somehow falls to the Jags at #7
|
there is a possibility of that happening though, I mean there always is.
And the Jags need a solid WR as much as we do. |

I'm not opposed to them drafting Crabtree, for the record. I'd love it to happen, I think he'd be a good fit. My gut tells me though that it's not happening. Hopefully I'm wrong though. If I'm not, like I said, there's a lot of talent in the free agent pool this off season, and further in the draft... So we'll see. |
I jus saw some kid get a 4.36 so I'd have to disagree with you.
|
lol
if the Seahawks draft Crabtree, you might aswell start calling the Hawk's the Lions 2.0 they need a quarterback first, hasselback is over the hill and not good any more although, taking Crabtree this year, and passing on shitty Sanchez and that shitty ass Geriga quarterback could seem like a good move, if they can suck it up again this year and get a good draft pick for the next years draft class of some quarterbacks that are actually worth a top 10 pick |
I think Seneca will do well, he ended last season quite well, I mean what more can you ask for than 250 yrds and 4 touchdowns 0 int in one game. Hasselbeck has an other few years left.
|
lol...dude, they have no running game. AT ALL. i know, i thought Julius would be dope..so i drafted him for my fantansy football league.
Their defense is lower than mediocre they aren't better than Arizona, although...with all the tearing apart Arizona did with coordinatiors this off season...we'll see if they can come back they aren't better than the Niners and the Ram's, we'll, they are about the same level as the rams Seneca was suppose to be good along time ago, and he just isnt'. He's not a good starter, ok backup, just like Leftwich, dude can be a great backup, but as a starter...he's just not that great |
11 Td's and 3 Int's in like 7 games isn't bad at all for someone who's never really had much time to shine.
He has mad good accuracy. AGAINST NEW ENGLAND! he had 3 Td's and 1 int, and he threw for 212 yrds. He went 20/28. That's against that rough and tough NE defense. JJ is okay, I mean he had a few decents games, but our defense is much much better than Arizona's. And we're much better than San Fran. Last year we just lost allllll of our wide recievers and Patrick Kerney, and well the list goes on. We arguably have one of the best line backing corps in the NFL. Josh Wilson broke out last year and if Trufant can pick it up again and with Grant in the back field our secondary's good too, specially now since we have Jim Mora as our couch who's an excellent defensive teacher. Our O-Line is the weakest part of the team, and our d-line isn't to proud sept for Kerney and Mebane who broke out last year. We have a good team, we just need to put things together a little better. |
1. The Pat's D is overrated. They WERE great 2 years ago...but you could even tell that 2 years ago, they were getting old. To loose Samuel, and to continue to try and just put players that weren't proven with older players can only work so many times. This year, proves the fact that they just need to start signin the proven players they have or they will continue to struggle
2. Sure, those are good numbers, but wins. Wins are the only thing that matter. We both know that. 3. ROFL @ saying Seahawks have a better D than Zona. Zona went to the Superbowl. That point is void. 4. You really think Mora is good? Take a look at how bad of a job he did with the Niners. The guy isn't a proven coach at all. |
N i aitn even tryin to be on some 'fuck you' type shit either
i just think the Seahawks WERE overrated since their superbowl run, and they just kept getting lucky they played in the weakest division, possibly ever. I mean, when 3 of the 4 teams in a divsion are sub 500 teams....you'd figure one team would look good for a few years, but choke in the playoff's. I'll give you that they did compete with the upper teams of the AFC and NFC, but they never were dominate, and it will be along time before they are dominate again. |
watch this year they'll get far in the playoffs.
AFTER their superbowl run they almost got back. Which is damned near impossible these days. I think we need a Playmaker on offense and a right offensive line. And The Card's didn't get to the superbowl with defense, they got there with Offense. Fitzgerald is why they were in the SB. |
lol
did you watch the playoff's bro? they DID get to the superbowl with there defense. their offense sure as hell didn't shut down Turner and Ryan...THAN to shut down Williams and Stewart.....THAN westbrook a shitty defense doens't shut down that many GREAT....not mediocre, GREAT running backs give props were there due bro. come on ...i mean, i'm a 49ers fan. and even i was impressed but stop ignroing the facts that i posted....Mora is unproven, actually the only thing he proven so far is that he can't win as a head coach. |
I don't know why you're saying that, did he not do well with the falcons? I mean if he didn't let me know, and we have the same kind of QB that he was using there except ours can actually make accurate passes. I think that the Seahawks defense is more stout than anyone in the division, injuries plagued us.
|
Alright, realistically I wouldn't be counting on the playoffs this year... and that's coming from a Seahawks fan. Sure, you can make a turn around, Panthers had a pretty good one, but I think we need a lot more pieces than just a couple good ones.
I love Seneca Wallace, but I don't think he has a future as a starting QB. Hell, I'd play him more at WR, especially now with the lack of decent receivers we currently have. I don't know if this fact is still accurate, but for what it's worth, last year he ran the fastest 40 time on the team... and that's your backup quarterback lol. He's a great athlete, but starting QB, not quite. Next season will be better, I mean it can't get much worse. I do think we're better than both the Rams & the Niners though... |
no, your not better than the Niners.
go fuck yourself Titty's |
