Who watched the greatest NBA play-off game ever last night?

Word, Bulls-Celtics triple OT. goddamn, that game was fucking beast! or Immense as Nick Fletcher would put it. Wow... the series as a whole has been amazing, probably best I've personally lived to be able to see. I'm sure some of those old Laker-Celtics series might top it. But for this generation of fans, this might be the best so far. Game 7 tomorrow, can't fucking wait. I might try to rob someone for tickets. Wooo!!

As for those interested and don't mind reading the kids swag. I posted big ass note after game on facebook. LOL shit was too dope, I had to throw my shit out there. Baby Bulls!

1). Greatest NBA play-off game ever?

I've been trying to think of a previous NBA game I've watched before that was better than this one. Hell, I don't think I've ever witnessed a greater NBA series than this Bulls-Celtics series. Every game, one team has a late lead that looks to have put the game out of reach yet the other team comes storming right back. It's crazy.

Besides game 3, the other 5 games have been decided by a total of 11 points. That's some crazy stuff.

If Bulls win or lose, I'm still happy I watched every game of this series. Def a memorable one. Both teams playing with a passion and both sides never giving up till final whistle and making some remarkable clutch shots. Some great basketball here. And to think it's only the first round. Shit... here's hoping Game 7 will be just as good. Or a Bulls blow-out would work for me. My heart's taken too much.

2). Kirk Hinrich aka Basketball Jesus

Dude's shooting night wasn't anything special. Had some shots throughout game. 4-11. But that lay-up could have been deadly. I got like 5+ comments hating on the legend seconds after that. Rose came up big and saved Hinrich there. I still have my beliefs that Rondo's dirty lil ass tipped it though.

But besides shooting he created a lot of nice looks. Had 7 assists, including some flashy ones. And he was pretty solid on the defensive end as well. When he covered Pierce, Pierce struggled to find his tradeback step back J majority of the time. And he covered Allen as good as humanly possible in second half when he was on him. Allen is just too much for anybody. Overall, a decent night for the 6'3" legend.

3). Ray Allen... goddamn...

Seriously, everytime this bald headed freak of nature threw up a shot I found myself screaming "NOO!!!" "FUCK!!" "SHIT!!" "I HATE YOU!!!" before the ball even reached the net. Dude is nasty. And how the Celtics lose a game where Allen was this unconcious, I really don't know. But he is nasty, and prolly the only Celtics player I can respect. Well, besides PJ Brown because I met him and helped him pick out a tie last year.

4). Bulls better off without Ben Gordon?

It could be crazy, but I was talking to some Bulls fans who said they actually were happy when Ben Gordon fouled out. I personally was as well. Don't get me wrong, dude has a clutch factor around him and can hit some big shots. BUT... he also tends to force up a lot of crazy shots. It's not like he NEEDS too either. He has plenty of talented shooters around him, that some of them aren't necessary. I personally found his shot at the end of regulation horrible choice. A drive to the basket would have been nice to see instead of a fade away almost 3 pointer.

Moving on after this season, I hold the same belief. It's well known Ben Gordon isn't happy with Bulls. He declined a 50 million dollar contract offer a year or two ago, and all signs point to him probably leaving Chicago.

I personally think Bulls would be better off. A lot of Bulls fans I've talked to agree on this. Yes, it would hurt them in the short run. You would be missing out on a clutch player who isn't afraid to take control of the game. But I think in the long run it would be a positive for Bulls.

Gordon although clutch, also has a tendency to hog it a bit, and force up some impossible shots. True, he makes some of them. But that still leaves a lot of bad shot selection misses that negate possible scoring opportunities from the bulls.

Also, I find that Rose has been using Gordon to get himself away from those late game situations. This series in closing minutes, Rose seemed to be too quick in dumping out the ball to Salmons or Gordon and letting them make a play.

Rose has the potential to be that Go to guy for the Bulls, and without Gordon that would almost force Rose to start living up to that. It wouldn't be too much pressure, since he would have Salmons there who has proven in the last three games he isn't afraid to handle the ball in the end.

Last night, Rose took a step in that direction. He still seemed a little uncomfortable without Gordon, but he did more. If he keeps driving like he did in regulation that will force the defenders to converge on him, thus opening up good shooters on the wings such as Miller or Hinrich. I'd rather take an open 15-20 footer from Brad Miller or Kirk Hinrich over a dump off to Salmons or Ben Gordon and watch them try to go 1 on 1 with a defender to create a shot.

I also believe besides Gordon, they should drop Deng or at least have him coming off bench. Which would leave the starting line-up as these:

PG: Rose SG: Hinrich SF: Salmons PF: Noah C: Brad Miller

The bulls could always play around with the PF and C positions but the 1-3 would be a nice combo.

5). Rondo is a dirty cheap ass lil homo ugly elf looking motherfucker x 192093902309320923

If the obvious non-basketball play slap in the face to Miller at the end of Game 5 wasn't enough (Rondo even admitted he was meant to foul miller in an attempt to make him miss), wtf was up with him putting his hands on the future MVP Kirk Hinrich?

The rebound was made, Hinrich was trying to go down the court and do what a basketball god does, but NOOO... Rondo has to grab Kirk's arm with both his hands. Not only that, but he proceeds to throw him into the scorers table. Then like anyone would Kirk charges forward, and I'm no lip reader but it def looks like the basketball god was putting some kind of curse or hex on Rondo. Then Rondo elbows him.

I don't see how that wasn't a flagrant foul 2. But this lil elf gets away with 2 nasty fouls in back to back games. I don't know who's dick he's sucking, but he obviously is doing a pretty good job. Faggot....

6). Noah's play

Now, yes he is an ugly beast that could give Sam Cassell a run for his money in the Most Ugliest Man on the face of the earth Pageant, but that play was something else. Yes, it was a bad pass by Pierce (But can you blame him? What else can you do when the basketball jesus is suffocating you with his D?), but the speed that Noah used getting down court was crazy too. Not to mention the emphatic jam and the 6th foul on pierce. So many great stuff happened on that one play. Crazy... I'm patiently awaiting the day this clip gets on youtube.

P.s. He might be the ONLY Gator I will ever respect. Fuck Florida.

7). Watching game 7 live?

I'm seriously considering robbing a handicapped person or 5 year old kid of their game 7 tickets. Only thing better than watching this series would be watching it live. It would def trump going to see Game 1 of the NBA finals last yr. Look out kids, I'm coming.

8). Other thoughts and notes

-Brad Miller is the shit

-Paul Pierce is a sissy girl

-The Bulls home crowd was HORRIBLE tonight. No emotion. It's like they didn't even care that there Bulls were on the brink of elimination.

-John Salmons is still a bum in my books unless he gives a repeat performance in game 7. Sorry for adding more pressure for you, John.

-Fuad Conteh is clueless

-Y'all will probably reply back trying to shit on me, but just know when you die and your life is to be judged... Kirk Hinrich will be the one choosing your fate.

The End

rofl @ that kirk hinrich shit...hahaha

lyricalflowz 05-01-09 05:13 PM

Yeah, I honestly thing the Bulls might take it. If Rose gets off, it's over. I can't believe Ray Allen racked up 50 some points. Crazy shit. I can't remember him ever scoring that many.

_Talksic_ 05-01-09 07:45 PM

their my team but the celtics have sucked lately.we should have swept the bulls, but then again were missing garnett

LOL it's mostly inside joke with most of my boys here.

I beat most of them in 2k9 with Bulls. And I just catch fire with Hinrich, running him off picks, he gets me like 30-40 ppg. Mostly 3's. So all of them hate him just for that hahaha

And everytime he's made a 3 in the series I just stand up and all of them like "goddamn stfu!" LOL

he's also my facebook profile picture. I just doing it to piss em off. Although, Hinrich is one of my fav players, I don't really think he is the Basketball Jesus LOL

Dude was a beast, until he decided that making a shot when it mattered wasn't important

J.Roy 05-02-09 01:13 AM

The greatest playoff game i've ever seen is the Cavs/Pistons series a few years back when the Cavs went to the ship. When LeBron let loose for 30 points in the 4th qt

Ray Allen imo was and still possibly may be one of the most clutch shooters.

_Talksic_ 05-02-09 02:12 AM

^^^true that....

TeamOne 05-02-09 02:36 AM

hinrich is ill... and whoever compared this series to cavs/pistons is dumb... u cant say a series is better because they had 1 Really good game, mainly due to one player being a Complete beast

this shit has had 5 GREAT games, and most of them have a new hero every night... just because the series doesnt have the best player in the world involved shouldnt make it lose consideration

_Talksic_ 05-02-09 02:41 AM

not sure if celtics can do it this year.

Yeah breaking out in the last game to win a series that was not in their favor to have a player go off like that and win a game imo is better than this. The only reason this is getting "best series" ever commendation is because it's "Bulls vs. Celtics" blah blah blah. They have history but who cares? I'm talking about right now.....

TeamOne 05-02-09 02:51 AM

and i understand that this series would probably be a totally different story if Boston had KG but to be honest our lineup is not anywhere close to what it was when we played the Celtics with KG... their lineup would be exactly the same (just the addition of KG) while instead of our lineup having aaron gray, drew gooden and luol deng STARTING (like we did against them with KG), it would have salmons, noah, tyrus (with both brad miller and hinrich playing near starting minutes)

still u might say that KG would be the deciding factor but even with that inferior lineup KG only 17 points and 1 rebound and another game with 18 points and 10 rebounds... thats really not better than what davis and perkins have been doing... and perkins has done very well defensively too (7 blocks a game ago with no fouls).... and yes they won those games handedly but i argue that its mainly because our lineup was ALOT worse than it is now (especially since key contributors like noah and tyrus were not Nearly as involved, hinrich was out injured, and miller and salmons didnt exist)

maybe im wrong... maybe garnett wouldve wiped the floor and made us wipe his ass, but i think theres a good chance that all of these games would have been just as close... possibly the celtics take it in 5 (or we take it in 5) but i say those games are still won by 2-3 points... and with the game on the line, KG wouldntve have been the one given the ball to win it

TeamOne 05-02-09 02:56 AM

wth......... u have 7 overtimes in ONE SERIES... u wanna know the previous record for overtimes in a whole PLAYOFF... 6... so the celtics and bulls broke the record for the entire Playoffs in One series, and its not even game 7 (of the First round) hahahaha...

if u had said a classic series was better, like an old lakers/celtics series, or even that mavericks/golden state series from a couple years back i wouldve given u some credit... but you choose a series due to one performance.. its almost laughable... ray allen, ben gordon, and paul pierce hit collectively what Shouldve been (and wouldve been in any other series) 15 game winners in those 6 games, but each team would Not quit

_Talksic_ 05-02-09 03:00 AM

if we had kg itd be over

TeamOne 05-02-09 03:14 AM

game 1 of pistons cavs - pistons win by 3 regulation but the final points are scored with 2 minutes left in the game (yea, sounds like someone came up Real clutch....*choke)

Game 2 - again 3 point regulation win with cavs missing shots twice in the last minutes that could have won it or tied the game... again, no clutch factor.

game 3 - cavs won by 6 and had the lead for the last 8 minutes of the 4th quarter, never giving it up or having the score tied... yawn

game 4 - cavs win by 4, having the lead for the last 6 1/2 minutes of the game, never letting it get away or tie....

game 5 - the game u think trumps all odds... king james scored 29 in the 4th, 1st, and second overtime to give them a 2 point win... it was a great game, but it reads like the Second best game of the bulls/celtics series..

game 6 - cavs blow them out... how dramatic.

J.Roy 05-02-09 06:22 AM

Of course you're going to say that, your team is apart of it. Cavs aren't even my team, I just know that single handily that was the best playoff performance since Jordan.

And by you saying "oh it was just one man's performance" look at all the times Jordan won those games for his team. Can you tell me his shit wasn't good because it was a "one man" performance?

The Jett 05-02-09 09:09 AM

i musta missed it. I watched the bulls beat the celtics in triple ot :(.

J. Luth 05-02-09 11:36 AM

LOL @ J. Roy that is the STUPIDEST shit I ever heard. I don't support either team in this series before. And me personally this trumps every other series I've watched since I was alive. I be more into this shit then my kings v.s. Lakers in that BS 7 game series.

If you compared Pistons-Cavs? lmao dumbest shit ever. Dude mentions ONE Moment and says it makes it best series ever? LOL you serious?

Bulls have those moments almost in EVERY OT and at the end of every game.

Seriously, Pistons-Cavs? That's something Poetic might say

J. Luth 05-02-09 11:51 AM

Pistons-Cavs might have had 1 or 2 moments. How about this?

http://myespn.go.com/blogs/truehoop...ago-Series.html

The Jett 05-02-09 03:26 PM

Poor Danny Ainge. Dont let him watch the game.

J. Luth 05-02-09 03:38 PM

^lmao that's fucked up son.

TeamOne 05-02-09 08:33 PM

but i never said that those jordan series were some of the best of all time..... yea ill say a few of the shots were the greatest plays/performances of all time.. but not the best series.... there is a difference.
