Ladies and gents, children of all ages. I am here to
announce rapbattles.com's re-building process!
You will be noticing many changes thruout the board
over the next couple weeks. Some new mods, color
modifications, and possibly new tourneys & forums.

The Rapbattles newsletter is in creation. It will be a
monthly newsletter that goes out to all members.
Contents will include, album reviews of commercial
artists, and netcees. Top 5 audios and text peices, etc.

I dont know what else to tell you at the moment. Just
expect some massive changes for the better! And
hang in there, all you loyal members will get paid
your worth!

I know I got some changes I want to make in Open Mic and possibly add a sub-forum in there that I would be HONORED to mod... I'm trying to make some changes in sleeping in shit in there right now. If you have any changes you think might help me with open mic... Cise... get at me on AIM or something... AIM = JMFoughty

Oh, I was also wondering where you got this information about the board changes... last I checked there wasn't anything in the employees forum... Is this legit?

I been talking to shadow on aim the last couple days,
and he wasnt that motivated to getting the board all
poppin again. Which is actualy understandable if you
hear him out. Im not getting into specifics, but I will
be the one making the changes, but not for about a
week or so.

how will you go about
selecting new mods?

Im not really saying new mods will be selected. Just we
will look for people not doing their jobs, and hand select
people that will do it better. Mod requests will not be
welcomed.

Exactly what Cise said, anyone who asks for a mod spot is guaranteed to not get one. You must be active and helpfull enough to get recognition from a mod/admin to "nominate" you so to speak. Or put in a good word for you, plus spamming such as IMing a mod asking for him to put in a good word is NOT welcome so... don't try it.

Great! I don't know if you know me Consice, (or did you get a name change from someone else?) Well I'm like RB's Loyal Supject, and mod. *hugs computer* I have good experience, I've modded for a while. I have never gone on a power trip, nor ever will I. Most members that know me don't hate me, I am fair, honest, nice, and helpful to all.
Basically what I'm asking for is to be an administrator, or super mod. Domain 9 recommened me, and I'm sure that their would be others that would vote for me to be one (no I am not high on myself, its just that I try to help people out, and all).

I think I could help the site greatly, if I were allowed. Right now I only look after Open Mic and Cypher forum, but I think I would to the board better if I were a super moderater, or administrator.
Just consider it, that's all I ask.

I know Shadow doesnt want to do much to the site, but tell him to just like make you an admin, then he won't have to do anything more, and you (with the help of others obviously) can help get the site back up, and make it good again.

I used to be a mod and just never changed it.
And Its not that easy to just say "hey shadow,
make me admin." As an admin, you get very
un-easy about giving anyone access to control
panels and options. Cause fact is, you dont
know 99.9% of these cats you talk to online.
And Shadow does not know me. Its all about
feeling you can trust the person to do the right
thing. Hopefully Shadow will come to that
conclusion :D...

You guys should chat amongst yourselves, and buy it as a group. And appoint all of eachother admins. Well worth the investment. I got an offer from some Hong Kong dude back in 2001 for $8k but turned it down cause RB was fun back then, and cause I hate Asian people...So this is a deal, especially after adding this new vB skin...
