Poll voting on front lines...
 

There has been much controversy over this issue, but it is much easier for the mods to close battles when there is are a list of final tallied poll votes (ex: 10-8) clearly posted above each battle. In my opinion the poll voting system and record updates have been going well for the past month. What do you think?

Get rid of it, people vote for themselves, and vote without uppin' the thread, it really sucks. No offense.

I'd rather quotes and stuff on my battles than people just poll voting.

A user can only vote once....and if someone is suspicious of it I can always check who voted for who on each poll.

it doesnt matter...if you drop the illist flow then people would vote for you... so get better at rhymin so more viewers would vote

yo man i lost the battle the other day bacause of this peace of shit poll it was like 6-4 like 4 more people voted for me some forgot to hit the poll others said that it wouldnt let them at the end i lost i coulda just won there alot of people that voted for me did hit the poll right now the same shit is ghappenin against my battle with tonya montana ghetto white gave me a vote but says that the damn poll aint workin yall just need to fix it peace

if it is 8-0 on the poll but 8-9 through the text then shit is fucked up you know?

you have to use either poll or no poll: DON"T tryo to have both...


maybe set it up so that once both verses are posted the thread is closed and only poll votes are allowed.....

Scrapping the poll is the best idea: Its not that hard to just say

"Vote=whoever"

then it would be on the battler's part (winner that is) to post a final tally as the last post on that thread and then post a link to that post and mods could check the tally.......

It could use some fixing, like when you poll vote it should atomaticly post ur name in the thread sayin why you voted the way you did, that way you know who voted and why. That way if you wanna vote you have to explain the way you vote, and if theres crew votes everyone knows and their cancled...

this is a good idea becuz people just sleep on the polls and i could never get 5 poll votes in my past battles which have been 4 or 5 battles.

u could make it so that u have to win by 2 votes............

say if A vs B and A gets 5 votes n B gets 4.....then A should have 6 votes to win....................yea this polling system isnt that good cuse like i had (still goin on for like 2 wks) a battle and 6 people reply voted for me and only 3 voted.......and i pmed to tell em to poll vote cuse they musta forgot or sumthin and all of em told me that they could......then blah blah i told em what do to PM u and blah blah over 200 posts blah blah.............and then still some peeps couldnt vote

Yo the only thing that I think is whacked that only people with 100 posts can vote .. I was against dice - roller and three people voted for me but because they couldn't pole vote

The automated bullshit has got to go. A lot of people arehaving trouble voting on the polls. Others take advantage of the fact that theres no room to argue the votes. Crew can vote and nobody can do a damn thing about it. Then you get the dick ryders that post 100 characters of nonsense then vote. Theres just no room for regulation. Now every vote looks something like this...

It was a close battle but i think "whoever" won. His was just better. Vote on my shit "whoever."

And no one can stop them from doing it. The 2 battlists can't come to an agreement on voting terms because they don't have control of the voting. The automated system has turned voting into a free for all. Something really has to be done about this, because people are really losing an interest in battling when they don't have a shot regardless of what the wrote.

i think it's a good idea...it's like i said to the polling in general thread...it's about organization...and this site has that.

i say keep it, because wihtout a poll people will make random names and start voting on their own battles, and poll votes keeps track of the votes and it automatically adds wins/losses to your records and closses the thread up, i say keep the poll votes

The poll system is aight, but a mean herbs freepost everywhere to get to 100 then dont explain fully, shits just lame, the elite fl poll system is better, that ya need to be registered...

i like the new poll system except for the part when its like you have to do 100 charcters when ur like checkin into a battle like if your sayin spit now or comeon or uppin the you gotta add more stuff to make it 100 charicters but other than that its great

i like poll voting i guess it makes da votes easier..an its makes so herbs dat dont have a hundo post cant vote...an note have 5 names an vote on dme selves every fukin time..trust me there will be herbs like dat if u take it off..so keep it...its down..

I like the system, helps prevent D/R, but it is still not completely preventable. I do like the idea of a post limit though, helps prevent herb mistakes.
