What cd was better Blueprint 2 or God Child

I think the blue print 2 was better because it had more songs. write back to tell me what you think.

Badmajik 05-22-03 11:07 AM

u mean god's son by anychance?

Un-Skrypted 05-22-03 11:14 AM

A cd is never better because it "has more songs". Thats the stupidest fucking reason I've ever heard.

God's son was better by far.

There are two of these threads...errr Closed.

MuhThugga 05-22-03 11:07 PM

God's Son was better.

But let's compare two double albums if you have the quibble with more songs.

Jay-Z The Blueprint 2 or, what the Hell, The Coup - Steal This Double Album

Duh, The Coup's album is better because it has a second disc of footage. Sike, The Coup's album is better because it all around is better in concepts, lyrics, beats, ORIGINALITY.

XTC 05-22-03 11:18 PM

I reckz Blueprint 2..was aiight

DarkForce 05-23-03 12:45 AM

God's son by a longshot

DarkForce 05-23-03 12:45 AM

matter fact, that was a hate vote.....FUCK JAY-Z

LowRolla 05-23-03 12:53 AM

Mentos 05-23-03 03:49 PM

uhh yeah. . .

...OpeY... 05-23-03 05:30 PM

i was feelin them both but i get tired of nas after awhile. by the middle of the cd i get a headache cus he never switches up his flow. And blueprint 2 is one of my favorite joints to roll a b to, so its hard to say

DEL the funkee 05-23-03 10:29 PM

Blueprint 2 was disapointing, even after 25+ tracks, there were only 5 reasonable songs.

God's Son on the other hand was amazing

Fav tracks:

Blueprint 2
1.Watcher 2
2.Some how some way
3.Gun's and Rose's
4.All around the world
5.A Diamonds forever?

God's Son

1.Get Down
2.Revolutionary Warfare
3.I can
4.Thugz Mansion
5.Dance

Mos def Gods son has better quality tracks. I can at first I thought it was fuckin stupid, then i started to listen to it more and more and realized it was fuckin brilliant.

One of the tracks that i just hate off Blueprint 2 has to be Hovi Baby. I forget who produced it but im guessing Just Blaze, the shit is corny as hell and the lyrics are boring...

peace

keRseR 05-24-03 04:40 AM

JAY Z is a BIGGIE biter... and he needs to make his own fukking music and lyrics and not 2pac and BIGs shit.

everyone in the industry wants to be pac and big... but no one has the balls to surpass them.

The MRB 05-24-03 01:04 PM

i aint gonna dignify this thread wid an answer write a thread wid da cds proper names and i will.

yeh reasons fuckin stupid as well

WOOSHY 05-25-03 05:58 AM

Bazzy 05-25-03 11:29 AM

so if i released a CD with 80 songs on it would that make it the best CD ever?

MuhThugga 05-25-03 01:56 PM

^^^ Mine will be better because I'll include a hidden bonus track to total 81 songs.

Orikle 05-26-03 03:37 AM

haha yeah some dumb peeps in here..Jay-Z has only done like a few good tracks in his career..Whereas Nas has fucken graced mics and spat gold time after time, Gods Son is much better however Illmatic's probably one of the most consistent albums ever.

Johnny 6-feet 05-26-03 09:06 AM

oh wow a jay-z vs nas thread.....i havent seen one of those before.

god's son was the better album, but not by much. tracks like "zone out" and "hey nas" were fucked up by bad collaberation choices. nas has a habit of coming off awfully smart-arsed sometimes.

jay-z just stuck to his normal formula of guns and bitches. although tracks like "a dream", "guns n roses" and "blueprint 2". are headbangingly addictive to listen to.

your_end 05-28-03 09:19 AM

ok... jay vs nas? really n truly s'like tha post necro vs cani, ya really cant compare 'em...

i gotta admit BP2 wasn't his best album by far but Gods Son was boring... shit Nas has already done... and it aint like u cant stick wit' what you got, but i mean he always preaching, preaching, preaching... every song is like, read a book or learn who you are... he wants us to try to be more like Nas... i aint hating on all that cuz its true to read up on ya black heritage and what not, but damn every album over and over? Illmatic by far was his best album, then he started getting all 'learn-yourself' on us...

as of now... Jay is untouchable... jay doesn't write, doesn't need to, dont know why people hate on Jay for... he'll out shine, out flow, nas any day... he has more diversity... Jay is sorta lika Kobe/McGrady to tha rap, he can do alot, you can try to stop him on one end but he'll beat you on another, as for Nas he sorta like Duncan... i mean, take away tha one aspect of tha back board and what do you got? ya average baller....

feel me...? just my opinion really, but honestly, i like 'em both, definately both are top 5 overall in tha rap today...

explained it the best...

DaviD WoRdplay 05-28-03 01:27 PM

Oh yeah.. fuck Jay-Z

he can't make a track without Pac or Biggie...

Reno Starr 05-28-03 01:35 PM

Well in my thoughts im not much of a Jay-Z fan so I would noramlly have to say Gods Son. But Blueprint 2 did have a few good tracks on it so im going have to say they are both fine.

Matt6383 05-28-03 04:17 PM

God's Son... but if BP2 was one disc and cut out some of the shit tracks, then it woulda been better...

DEL the funkee 05-28-03 09:01 PM

Not really, he made "Blueprint 2.1" and it fuckin blows, ohh well.

peace
